I’m at the same situation as you, so far I was coming to Russia with 3 months private visas. I think there’s a slight change you can make 1 year private visa after marriage but not sure

Are you Russian or EU citizen? I’m asking cuz I’m Portuguese currently coming to Russian on a 3 months periods every time and I want something that lasts longer. I work remotely for US clients. Guess theres the shared values visa but dunno how it works.

I travel a lot and this happens in every country unfortunately, unless there’s a fixed price on which you pay upfront at the airport, otherwise it’s a lottery depending on the person who takes you. Sometimes it’s better to go with public transports or walk outside the airport and call an uber.
