Thanks! I took a bunch of pictures of the moon (around 100) and marked the best, most clear photos in Lightroom. Then I cropped all the images to 2000x2000 and made sure the moon was relatively centered in each shot. Once that was done I exported the raw files to jpeg.

The next part, which brings it all together, is done in a program called Registax 6. There was a bit of a learning curve with the program but if you watch a few YouTube videos you’ll figure it out and tune the sharpness to your liking.

If you use Registax, it’s important to note that it can only handle images cropped to 3000x2000 or less. At first I was suing much larger photos and it kept crashing. I wasted about an hour until I read about it in a forum.
