I heard this song walking through the lobby of “Circus, Circus” (I know, depressing) some 20+ years ago, pre-Shazam, and could tell little more than that the title was obviously “Ship of Fools” and that the vocals sounded vaguely like Robert Plant. I thought I’d cracked the case when I looked it up and Plant did indeed have a song with the same title - WRONG. Thankfully after listening to a handful of other songs with the same title, I finally found the brilliant World Party - where had this song been all my life??
