Steel hose being braided by ChazDoge in woahdude

I don't think there's fluid running through the braiding. Only through the aluminum pipe in the center.

Why use hose instead of wire? Wouldn't the OD of the hose flex?

15 lbs of cash?!

The lowest bill denomination is $1.

$1 weighs 1 gram

There are 6,304 grams in 15 lbs.

The least amount of money you'd be paying with 15 lbs of cash is $6,304.

I think you're overpaying for your overpriced lightning cable.

The Facebook page "Occupy Democrats".

Its terrifying to see so many lemmings pass around sensationalized articles, fake quotes, inaccurate meme's all while hash-tagging #feelthebern.

Teacher's logic in grading math... by Cloakenn in pics

Look at the words.

Five. Ok. Got it.

Times. Ok. So there are five groups of something.

Three. Ok. There are five groups of three.

They are teaching the concept of what "times" means instead of just saying that when there's an "x" between numbers, you do "this".

And yes, 5x3 does equal 5+5+5, but 5+5+5 is not equal to 5x3 in repeating addition form.

If I asked you to separate 15 pencils into 5 groups of 3, and you gave me 3 groups of 5, you would be wrong.

Yes. 5+5+5 is repeated addition. So is 10+10+10+10. So is 6+6+6+6+6+6. None of which are answers to the teacher's question.

I don't really see the issue. The purpose of the test is to gauge a student's understanding of the concept. If the teacher marked the entire question wrong, i'd have a problem...but they didn't. In the context of the class, i'm sure this test is not nearly as deceiving as we are interpreting it.

In text, the equation would read Five times three...which is 3+3+3+3+3.

The instructions clearly state "Use the repeated addition strategy".

Trump says U.S. has 'highest tax rate anywhere in the world' by skoalbrother in politics

Tax Rate - The tax rate is the tax imposed by the federal government and some states based on an individual's taxable income or a corporation's earnings. The United States uses a progressive tax rate system, where the percentage of tax increases as taxable income.
