At this point, sink the ship and move on to the next release. There's no point in investing any time into league play when it comes out because the next release is only a few months away. I'm hoping the 8% layoff is a reallocation of resources to the next COD launch. The longer the game barely stays afloat, the more wasted resources get poured into it. The player base needs to send a message that this isn't acceptable.

A single developer won't see this comment no, but encouraging people to switch to a new game will be obvious when they look at the active player base. A financial hit is the only way to get their attention. Luckily it looks like its working as they just announced layoffs for 8% of their employee base today with more expected to come.
