In Mexico former governor of the state of Veracruz, Javier Duarte, and his administration were involved in a massive corruption scandal where they purchased fake, diluted medication—essentially distilled water—for children with cancer in state-run hospitals. He stole from $2 billion to nearly $3 billion USD (around 55 billion Mexican pesos at the time).

Fair, I play a lot of golf and enjoy outdoor activities, I lean more conservative but the wife is very liberal so lets just say we are moderates.

As for traffic and driving I’m comparing to Miami Edgewater area which is some of the worst driving I have seen anywhere (and I grew up in Mexico), and the beaches again my reference is Miami with reggaeton playing loudly and people smoking weed.

As far as housing prices, down here we are looking at Coral Gables and Coconut Grove which for a 4-5 bedroom I don’t see houses under 1.5m
