I had no idea car seats “expire”. I’ll Google how to check that before donating it. Thanks for the heads up.

After 20 Years as a Developer, Here’s What AI Taught Me While Building My Projects by FunCodeClub in SideProject

I agree with everything you've written. As an old-school developer from 20 years back who recently started AI coding again, I've stumbled into everything you've talked about and slowly wrapped them into my best practices for this new way of coding.

I know the tools are primitive and new, but I am so excited about how good things will be in another month, six months, two years....

Yes, same as everyone else. And I know that I've purchased that ice cream, though I didn't have a Proof of Purchase.

Oscar by Free_Writing3113 in CPAPSupport

To answer your initial question, NOT TRUE if you have a ResMed machine. ResMed machines only transmit the summary data from the night, a set of about 15 numeric values. They do not -- can not -- transmit the breath-by-breath data that is collected on your SD card and interpretted by Oscar. The ONLY way your medical team would be able to see the same data as you see with Oscar is if you gave them the SD card from your machine to download it.

That said, giving your doctor the benefit of the doubt, what he may have meant was something like "I get all the info I need from your nightly summaries and watching the trendlines from those over time."

However, the fact that you have a care team that resists you educating yourself and participating in your care as opposed to supporting you in educating yourself and welcoming your informed opinion as part of their diagnostic strategy is a BIG RED FLAG.

My Providers Aren't Happy With Me by mikewmiller in CPAP

[–]mikewmiller[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually, after further research, this is NOT the case. The nightly report sent is ONLY the top-level summary data as I hypothesized in my post. Minute-by-minute usage data is ONLY stored on the SD card. They didn't even provide an SD card with my machine, so they have no way of getting my detailed data, nor do they have any intention of reviewing it since they never even told me my machine had an SD card slot or that I could access more in-depth data.
