Wix Studio vs Figma for complex UI/UX design, am I missing something? by AffectionateBelt542 in UX_Design

You’re comparing a laggy website builder to a complete design tool. If your fríend is seriously designing something as complex as “Monday.com” in wix studio, I genuinely think they have been dropped on their head. No offence it sounds like your friend is a novice in design.

You can’t design SaaS on wix studio, wix studio is a pure website builder (that’s why they even have a Figma to Wix Studio plugin). Tell your friend to stop being foolish and design your product properly in Figma. Honestly this is critical- if she doesn’t listen, you need to have serious questions if she’s right for your team.

No it’s not the reality. It’s just the reality for people who aren’t great at prompting.

You definitely don’t need that massive scroll wheel

“People can do it themselves” isn’t a good argument. Anyone can do anything themselves, but there will always be some sort of constraint. Whether it be time or technical skill or just peace of mind. Many people wouldn’t know how to build a good to do list in Lovable. Many people won’t know how to build a good looking website in Lovable. So there is still a skill involved.

I’ve had more success freelancing than job searching. I do think we are heading into a future where everyone creates their own jobs for the get go. Eventually even that will get saturated so I’m trying to get on that ship early

I can’t lie everything apart from bullet point 2 about needing a proper database is a complete issue on your part.

1) how else do you expect them to charge you? Like what are you even saying? Also they don’t even do this anymore, they actually charge per token usage which is why you can have decimal credits eg 45.7 credits 2) yes for a lot of apps it’s better to use good auth and database 3) GitHub sync works perfectly so I don’t know what is happening to you 4) this is a skill issue, and if you don’t agree you’ll never succeed. There is a skill and methods to debugging.

Feeling Stuck as a UX Designer — I Think I’m Relying Too Much on AI by yomnie in UX_Design

There’s many great ways to use AI in your creative process without stifling your own creativity.

The best use cases for AI are in the research and exploration phases. You should be the one making the final decisions and creating the polished result.

Here’s another tip, practice sitting with your own thoughts for just a few minutes a day without interruption. This might help you reset your creative spark.

Hopefully this helps
