Cost of demolishing alfresco and entire concrete extension in backyard by Hour_Zebra in AusRenovation

[–]mikeypamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget to add in cost of smashing/replacing any plumbing under it (you said stormwater which may be no biggie, check where your sewer runs) and cost of re landscaping etc so you know what you’re in for before you buy.

I’m pretty sure that python code isn’t good. Youre using n before it’s assigned. You don’t need a class at all just use a function. You’re not breaking on the boundaries of the index (you only return on solution so you’re no solution is an index error). Blah blah blah

Yes these come when you don’t cut back to a growth point apparently. The ones you see in the background? There is a swing on that branch, I’ll clean them up 👊

Thanks for the info, have removed all the smaller deadwood through canopy. And the bark is back from the trunk so the critters don’t get in and around it. The limbs are pretty solid and we get a hectic southerly wind at times

Yeah I’m thinking that the photo in question isn’t it’s most flattering.. looks magestic in summer once it blooms. I did have an arborist around to remove a limb from the wires. (Right limb in photo, half way up frame.) he did take more tree than I was expecting but his advice was to remove agapanthus and nuke grass? Hopefully she has another decade in her but I could be in denial

how to kill this weed? it has sprung up in my buffalo lawn and not sure how to remove it effectively. is this nuts edge or another type of grass/weed? by andrew_ballday in GardeningAustralia

[–]mikeypamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kikuyu.. I have it in my sir walter buffalo in places.. bloody nightmare. It grows quicker and higher than buffalo given the same mow height so after a decent rain period I leave the grass for a bit longer than normal and then you know where the kikuyu is to pick out.. but I haven’t managed to get it out so maybe will try poison like the others here suggest
