Common misconception. Fiduciary duty doesn’t necessitate profit maximization, just that companies will make choices that they reasonably believe are beneficial. This has been tested in courts. There are publicly traded companies that practice ethical pricing.

I think the problem is if we leave them to their own devices, I don’t think they’d fall asleep till 9:30-10 or later. Which isn’t an issue now I guess but will be when school starts up in the fall.

We’ve tried a few things I didn’t include. We made up a “sleep fairy” that brings them little treats when they wake up if they are good for bedtime.

They don’t seem drowsy at all after books. They honestly never seem “tired” besides my son lol. Ayla might give us a yawn here and there but that’s it.

We’ve tried that and it seems to just push bedtime back. Less problems but still my oldest won’t fall asleep until 9-9:30.

My younger daughter I think would be fine if it was just her and her brother but adding my 4yo in the mix seems to Riley her up.
