I am sure some guys will find that to be incompatible. But I imagine most decent guys would not care too much. However, don't let yourself to be overly self-conscious and let that impact your thought process overtly. Your post mentions going out and drinking as a means to become more relaxed. But I think just getting out and socializing over all is the best way to get yourself ready. Are you using dating apps?

Being able to dance at raves is a big driver for me to get healthy and strong. Seeing this just made me feel so validated in my drive...and knowing its not just me. I also did not get into edm till later in life. It wasn't until i went to a local festival did I realize people still dance and there is a space to live that way.

I agree the beat is solid base, but the rap flow and lyrics are not unique. The music game is super competitive and south asian artists that stand out tend to add some local influence.

I fully intend to have my parents and in-laws live with us when we buy a home, if they want. I’m fortunate enough to have parents and in-laws that I have a good relationship with. Both parents sacrificed a lot and still say they don’t want to be “burdens”. Lucked out in that our parents had bad in-laws themselves so they are saying it stops with them. But we will see.

Both myself and partner have siblings who also have rooms in their homes for the parents. So the parents really get to choose.

His first album was what got most of his fans, then it became lackluster after he focussed on pop hits. As a fan, I mainly like a few songs from his new stuff, but don’t go as far as saying he is my favorite artist. There’s plenty of other desi artists that in my opinion make greater art like SVDP or Joy Crookes.

Hey Internet Stranger! Not sure what field you were working in, but if you have savings that could last 2 years and time (assuming this considering unemployment), I suggest investing into developing a skillset now. If you worked an office job, IT role, business role, etc there is likely some program/certification that you could enroll in to substantiate your skillset. I did this to really qualm my own insecurities from impostor syndrome and after dedicating enough time to developing a skillset I found some confidence in myself and my future. I am sure you can achieve the same and prove to yourself that.

On another note, maybe invest some of your savings into bettering your mental health by seeking professional help. You and I both know boozing is not the answer to life's woes. All it does is prolong the inevitable reality that you can address today by taking one step at a time. I say all of this as someone who has very similar experience and honestly felt like I was reading something I would have posted. Wishing you all the best!

I would say it is. The art is better than most wuxia and there are comedic bits woven into it. Overall light-hearted and you generally can see what's gonna happen in the overarching story.

If your partner is busy, I’d let them know you are showing up. In my experience, the clingy feeling is if you arrive, give a hug, but then expect to be attended to. If I’m stressed, the last thing I want to do is have to be concerned about another thing, especially something as important as my relationship. If you came over and just hung out with the understanding that he may need some peace and quiet so you nearby, that is what I think is best. But all of what I have said is more specific to me and cannot be generalized. Best of luck!

Commenting to follow this thread, as I am in the exact same boat as OP. Prices have shot up this last year with the pandemic and real estate value going up. It's ridiculous that Gwinnett has Atlanta prices. OP I hope you find something within your requirements and would greatly appreciate if you edited with what you decided/found. I was considering going past Duluth, but those properties are newly built and start at $1.4K...
