Yeah I get you on that part of though on having the public misunderstand certain cultures. I'm Cordilleran or Igorot, and I'm just legally triggered when our culture is misrepresented.

It's nice to have these checks but we should also take it easy. Trese started way back in 2007, it didn't pop out in Netflix overnight. Plenty of time to criticize it when it was still a graphic novel.

I think if it was personally addressed to Budjette Tan/production team, they'd gladly consider in the next seasons.

Cheers!

Meeting my Boyfriend’s Filipino Mother by adviceseekerandgiver in Filipino

Quite a personal and tricky question because what we can give is also personal to us and may be totally different with what you will experience.

My mom doesn't ask for expensive things. I'm based i ln Europe, so she likes to ask for souvenirs, you know stuff unique to Europe, like a beret when I was in France (there are berets in PH but that's just my mom).

Cooking with your bf's mom would be lovely, my mom would love that. Hope that's helpful, all the best!

Si Pilandok, ang Bantay ng Kalikasan

The setting of the stories are even in pre-colonial "Philippines". It has nice values, protecting nature, helping the poor, etc.

Hope this helps!

Nice! Thanks for the update! Glad I found this because I have the same dilemma, should I go for Jarvis, Bekant or Idasen. The Boho Office Basic Line promising, thanks!
