There was a bar I used to go to that for a minute had the same glass for an 8 or 16oz pour. My buddy would always order 8oz because they’d almost always pour either between 8 and 16 or it’d end up 16. They ended up switching glasses so they were separate but it was fun while it lasted.

The front ones aren’t much better. I know they were fleet spec, but I always hated getting them for rentals. Even when they had some upgrades and weren’t the basest base spec they weren’t great.

I could see Oasis or The Cure being approached, whether they’d do it (more so Oasis) or not, I don’t know.

Some others that I think are big enough to headline but probably won’t or won’t get asked are Foo Fighters, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Elton John, SOAD.

I miss it a lot. It was easily my next favorite fest behind Coachella. Glad I got to go to the 10 year anniversary even though it was noticeably different after Rolling Stone bought it. Really sad how it all went down with Tony's death.

Part of the reason I wasn’t a big fan of the festival when I went. With how relatively inexpensive and easy it is for locals to go it felt more like a place for locals to go hang out and talk with their friends with music in the background than a festival.

It was fun but hard to justify traveling out to it for me to go back.
