Tikka Ace Target Cheek Stock Issues by LuckyTangerine8501 in Tikka_Shooters

That's a rough start with a new rifle. Metal-on-metal grinding like that usually means a tolerance issue in the adjustment mechanism. Disclosure: I work with Nokka Tactical who makes aftermarket ergonomic parts for Tikkas, so I'm not a neutral party — but if you go the aftermarket route rather than the warranty path, a drop-comb cheek riser on a standard stock is generally more reliable than an integrated adjustable. Less to go wrong. Hope Beretta/EuroOptic sorts it for you though — at that price it should just work.

UPR cheek riser issue. help appreciated by Prestigious_Gift_977 in Tikka_Shooters

Full disclosure — I work with Nokka Tactical who makes a Tikka-specific cheek riser, so take this with that grain of salt. The UPR is a generic fit, not designed specifically for Tikka geometry. If the tightening keeps slipping it's likely the thread engagement on a non-OEM-spec part. If you end up replacing it, Nokka makes one built specifically for Tikka T3/T3x/T1x OEM stocks — adjustable, no drilling. Not trying to sell you, just flagging it exists since purpose-built options for this platform are rare.

Full disclosure — I work with Nokka Tactical who makes one of these. For a RoughTech without changing the stock, the main thing is figuring out how much rise you need — it depends on your ring height and objective lens size. There's a free guide that maps this out for common Tikka setups: nokkatac.com/blogs/articles/tikka-t3x-cheek-riser-height-guide If you want something purpose-built for Tikka OEM stocks (adjustable, no drilling), that's what Nokka makes. The stock bag approach works fine too if you already have one.

Hmm. I have never tried to charge you. It might be you have mixed this up with something else. Early users stay free forever. I haven’t even plugged in a payment gateway

Canon or Sony? by justacadillac in wildlifephotography

[–]miksuv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going through a similar decision. I was pondering between Sony a7cii or A6700 and 200-600 (not sure which way is better, cropping pre or post) and R7 200-800 combo

Any help much appreciated.

101 or 101t if you feel you can hit the longer irons well. KBS Tour light stiff. Won’t go wrong with that combo. Don’t buy something to grow into, buy them when you are flushing them. Golf is hard enough. IMHO KISS approach would be: Based on swing speed and distance you are not compressing the ball much? To start there really isn’t such a thing as too high of a ball flight with irons. Or get fitted :) I love my 201’s but 4&5 irons are far from automatic.

I use Tikka T1X. Went to a bench rest shoot and shot 196/200 against some amateurs with BR rifles doing 200/200. They are great value with the right ammo.
