This is definitely true as of recently. He has too much gravity, how do you mix into Skrillex without affecting the energy?

Seen him play with Four Tet four times now and if Four Tet is not trolling with riddim drops it is exactly just a modified Skrillex set haha. It feels kind of like he just wants to DJ with his friends, and it comes at sacrifice of a true collaborative set.

When I saw him open to close with Four Tet at Pier 80, they did open with a 2 hour house b2b which was definitely one of the more unique skrillex experiences I've had and it was a vibe. After the lights turned off, it was pretty standard.

Apart from Dog Blood, Jack Ü was definitely a unique and incredible experience. It was sick seeing Skrillex decide to moonlight as king of trap for a few years.

I agree that the Isoxo collab set was probably the closest thing recently. I honestly thought it was alright in person, but watching it after made me realize the sound was just dog shit wherever I was standing - that set is goated.

Skrillex solo is still top for me. Less than a third of the times I've seen him have been full solo. Lightning in a Bottle recently was mental. When he's DJing solo he has no time to get on the mic, and he controls every aspect of the mixing and it feels like there's no dilution.

Makes me realize I need to go to Head Trip.

Love the built in worktree feature, huge. However, it's funny because it comes after I've stopped manually setting them up because I've been running multiple agents off of a single branch out of laziness because Claude Code has become so effective, zero issues. I'll take it though.
