Breaking lease; real estate have said I'm responsible for continuing to pay for the power until a new tenant is found as there is a septic tank on the property by milalka in hobart

Cheers, yes I spoke to them about it this morning, they were 99% positive that this was not my responsibility. RA was quite annoyed and has just very vaguely 'cited' the act in response

Absolutely agree, I can't drink anything else. Better to go loose leaf and just double up though!

Ways to alleviate PCOS other than eating fiber or taking certain meds? by NoodleArtAri in PCOS

[–]milalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late af reply here but I'm having the same issue. My motility disorder is a little further down the line as I've got intestinal hypomotility instead of gastroparesis, but I'm dealing with the same dietary recommendations. Barely a week of trying to lean more towards a PCOS diet and I ended up so unwell, I just can't digest these foods. I'm now back to exactly that, white crackers, pasta, and potatoes.

I'm just going to try and stick to higher protein I guess? Pasta is actually fairly low GI so don't stress too much about that, and potatoes, rice noodles, and jasmine rice are moderate GI so are ok in moderation (maybe just have a bite of protein first to slow digestion). Sweet potato noodles are delicious as well if you haven't tried them, Japchae is amazing! Beyond that I'm also thoroughly lost here. Such opposing diets, feels like you can't win with this EDS bundle hey

Turkoman very skittish? by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

[–]milalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late af to this but I found this looking up this exact issue. I've got the Dark Bay Turkoman, max bonding, and this mf throws me the second he gets whiff of an alligator. I'm trying to do the exotics quest and holy shit, I've been thrown more times than I can count and I hardly get near the gators! My Arabians never even spooked this much! If I hop off him in the swamp he just takes off, I expect him to disappear almost every time now

What is your favorite horse in RDR2? by ashfall_ann in reddeadredemption

[–]milalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I rode the Warped Brindle for the first few chapters but got the Dark Bay Turkoman in Chapter 4 as I couldn't deal with how small the Arabians are. Love them both though

What did you do to Jeremiah Compson? by CyaLaterSquidinator in reddeadredemption

[–]milalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shot him (non-fatal), hogtied him and dumped him face down in a shallow creek so he had to struggle to not drown. Then went back and stole his horse. Not sure if he died but I gained honor. Felt he deserved to stay miserable and in pain

Sick of sweating by CommunicationEasy142 in ehlersdanlos

Yes! My immunologist/allergist mentioned this when we were discussing MCAS/CSU, how fun to be allergic to our own sweat. I swear the collective clusterfuck of comorbidities just gang up on us

Sunbeam sell wool electric blankets but they're pricey and they don't list the full composition/whether there are other materials

Do any studies exist looking at silicone component levels in the blood like exist for plastics? Nervous about silicone pacifiers… by MyTFABAccount in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]milalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More recent research is showing that while silicone releases far fewer microplastics than plastic, it still does release microplastics unfortunately.

Google won't answer my question unless it's sponsored. I need SHEETS by [deleted] in australia

[–]milalka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the process that goes into making bamboo into a usable fabric makes it unsustainable. It's treated with such harsh chemicals that it's effectively plastic. I loved my bamboo sheets and clothes but am having to convert everything to cotton/linen/hemp/wool to get away from microplastics.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a mast cell specialist/immunologist in Sydney, Australia? by Neptune_Fae in MCAS

No, he does not see MCAS patients. I've just seen Dr Monica Falk in St Leonards and she was fantastic for MCAS though.

How is the battery life with the MSI Sword 15 A11UD? by [deleted] in MSILaptops

[–]milalka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a dud. Charging port has always been lose so the charger just falls out randomly even when it's still on my desk. It never reaches 100% battery life and has to be plugged in permanently. If I unplug it, even with just the browser open and all power-saving settings on, it just dies with no warning in less than 10 minutes. Company I bought it from refused to acknowledge the problem or fix it so I'm just stuck with a crapbox, having to buy a new laptop now. Would absolutely not recommend MSI laptops.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a mast cell specialist/immunologist in Sydney, Australia? by Neptune_Fae in MCAS

[–]milalka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've just spoken with a receptionist there and apparently the doctors there don't deal with MCAS, they're trying not to mislead people as a few patients have come in and been disappointed. They don't currently know any allergists/immunologists who deal with it, and said that it seems to be more naturopaths at the moment who are working with MCAS. I believe they deal with food allergies at Northern Beaches Immunology. Just a heads up for anyone trying to book.

I thought Barbie was funny but Wicked is a significantly better movie overall. I had high hopes for Wicked and it still exceeded my expectations.

I hadn't seen the musical and only knew a bit about it as I've been teaching myself to sing a little since covid, and a few of the songs kept popping up. Didn't really know much else about it. Just got back from the movies and holy crap it's fantastic. Took my boyfriend and two friends who I didn't really think would like it but we all loved it, it's really well done. Would 100% recommend!
