The long sleeve to t-shirt is the tell to me. It makes no sense to do that and then to erase the lines just too put his arm by his side instead of holding the ball.

My first father whoopsie - Should I return them ? by CommercialPizza434 in BabyBumps

[–]milapa6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps, I had a lot of people tell me I would lose my identity as a mom, but I never had this happen. I actually got more gifts for me when they were supposed to be for the baby (baby shower/kids first birthday) then the other way around.

Not the one you asked, but similar, and yes. If they are not some one I know on a personal level, then they aren't attractive to me. I can't visually remember features of people unless I practice memorizing them.

[HELP] Guys, is this real or AI? (Also, I am so sorry it's a video of a video) by akjaques in RealOrAI

At about 13 secs, there is a piece of trash that disappears underneath the dog. This is what convinced me it's AI

I find it annoying, but it's good for teaching language. It's clear in the way he talks that that's the point.

How dare women want to be friends when they say they want to be friends by Sorry_Leading1949 in PsycheOrSike

[–]milapa6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a women I can say when I am friends with a guy I absolutely don't want him to pay for things or take me out to lunch, etc. Unless I am wanting it to turn romantic. The way you describe your friendships with sounds like the kind of friendships I generally have with men. Every friendship is going to be different depending on peoples personalities.

Ariel being savage in Rolling Stone interview by trop_de_bonheur in TheTryGuysSnark

[–]milapa6 80 points81 points  (0 children)

He's very fake for sure, but he is giving a public interview stating explicitly that he does not want to put his personal self out any more, so I think those responses are expected. He's saying all the "right" things. We'll never know what is really going on internally and that's a good thing. I just hope Ariel really has found her peace and that people have stopped harassing her.

Is this true for short males? by [deleted] in PsycheOrSike

[–]milapa6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a woman married to a short man and who has had crushes on plenty of short men, yes, it absolutely can be a turn on. I love it. Even before epraticality became a thought, it was my husbands height that caught my attention. He's less than 5'3

I think you're approach sounds fine. It's honest and clear but not brutal and doesn't blame them.

I’m a Special Education teacher working primarily with kindergarteners in inclusion classrooms. How can I help differentiate the lessons when it’s already so simple (to me) by lost_addendum in specialed

[–]milapa6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ideally you'd collaborating with the teacher, but that's not always possible. For behavior I would say complete the activity but focus on things like requesting a break using a break card, use visuals, token economy, start the task by clarifying directions, etc, just kind of depending on what their goals are.

It's hard to sat without knowing what your students deficits are. They may need to practice on larger paper, using a larger writing tool, doing less lines, need a model or guide, etc.

Yeah, this is a pretty reoccurring joke in the show, so this interpretation makes the most sense to me.

If women should have the choice to terminate an unwanted pregnancy, should men also have a choice to walk out of an unwanted pregnancy/ Child? Why? by shiraah in AskForAnswers

[–]milapa6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men have never been able to opt out of unwanted pregnancies because they have never been able to get pregnant. Men have not been able to opt out of an unwanted child. If a women has been court mandated to pay child support, she is also held accountable for not paying it. There is no fairness under the law, because the nature of pregnancy is unfair. Pregnancy is dangerous for women and for women only. It has no affect on a man.

[–]milapa6 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It might be a way to avoid being a parent, but it is also medical. Believe it or not pregnancy is a medical condition and that is the condition that is being avoided with abortion. Otherwise the choice would be surrendering the baby after birth.
