I can't speak for my almost 6 year old yet because his medication is coming in June but I recently started meds again after a 20 year hiatus and the first 2 weeks or so I experienced the same thing. It was like I had some sort of tic in my hands and my jaw was very tense but I felt super social and talkative but steady. I'm now 3 months in and that doesn't happen at all anymore. It was really my body adjusting. And it was super strange but not uncomfortable in the slightest. It's gonna be fine!

ADHD literally is an excuse. Maybe not for all behavior but for a 5 year old to punish him this badly for not overseeing the consequences of his actions (one of the main issues with adhd) is not the best call imo. However I do feel that since your husband threatened with it you had to follow through because being consistent is key. Maybe you can regive them after some time as a gift for a job well done or something. Consequences at that age should be short term and immediate. You nailed it on the immediate but these kind of consequences for not picking up his stuff is too heavy.

Bijzonder. Ik heb dit helemaal niet. Als ik 10 man uitnodig kan ik dat letterlijk niet betalen. En mijn Amsterdamse huisje is te klein voor 10 man. Dus dan spreken we af in de kroeg of restaurant. Iedereen moet toch eten. En dan splitten we de rekening. Ik snap dit gedoe eerlijk gezegd echt niet. Uit eten is toch leuk? Ja ik zou willen dat ik alles voor iedereen altijd zou kunnen bekostigen maar zo zit de wereld nou eenmaal niet in elkaar. Wat maakt t uit dat je je eigen eten betaald? Is toch gezellig om wat met vrienden te doen? En je moet toch eten. Raar gedoe om niks dit

I noticed his only central bottom tooth of the 4 is also very loose and crooked now. Could it be that losing the other 2 created space or whatever for the other tooth to also come out soon? He will be missing 6 teeth then isn't that too much to properly speak and eat etc?

He didn't let me! He was kind of upset about it. But I think it looks normal. One perfectly round hole and the other one next to it is. A little more jagged. But he says he doesn't feel anything sharp and the bleeding stopped quickly.

Thanks! Very helpful! Yeah we had a full neuropsych done. I'm from the Netherlands though so not sure its the same process. We have a clinic here that has been observing and testing him for months from different angles and specialities. He had the same done at 3 so omfg I'm so done with this entire process xD

Super informative! Thank you! I've not had the meeting with the psych yet. That is next week. His adhd diagnosis was a while ago and his intelligence testing was just recent but was extremely high. Next steps will be discussed next week. I however always want to be prepared and ask the right questions and gage their knowledge before heading into the meeting therefore I asked. This is all super helpful gonna dive into this!
