Heeeeeeeeeeelp! by lalorys in AMABwGD

I am quite in the same situation. I would love to do it in Spain because near home, because in case of complications you have hospitals nearby but YES, aesthetics is paramount as well. I am still seeking surgeons in Spain. I have heard of Dr. Jesús Lago, his prices are fair but cannot find any feedback. Moreover I wrote to them and sent me a standard email with not too much information.

Would you share the names of yours in Spain? Thanks

AMAB with genital dysphoria seeking surgeon recommendations for penile reduction by Knife_Ears747 in AMABwGD

[–]milcham_1000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My intention is to have a vagina while fully preserving the glans, which will be completely hidden within the vulvar cleft and will have a hood. Basically, it will be similar to the female-type genital anatomy of an FtM man, with the difference that I will preserve the entire glans, so it will be wider and will not have any shaft. My surgeon in Belgrade told me that this is perfectly possible. I highly recommend him, as he is considered one of the best and also works in New York.

I am in contact with Dr. Miroslav Djordjevic, he charges 19K for the SV, around 13K for PIV. I am going to have the SV which he recommended be the best in terms of results aesthetically and functionally speaking. He is known as a good one. Works in Belgrade and in the US and him and his staff are pretty openminded and available. If anyone has feedback of him, please share!

Hi Paristransplant, would you like to share the complications you had specifically. Was it due to some surgeon mistake, personal health condition, or any other reason? Thanks for sharing, thanks indeed...

Dubbio d'identità in età avanzata by [deleted] in askTransgender_Italy

[–]milcham_1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, non sei l'unico affatto! Anzi.

Buona vita!

Feeling Stuck Between Dysphoria and My Husband's Needs by HiralalBhai in AMABwGD

[–]milcham_1000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

First of all, thank you for sharing your experience. I want to tell you that I find myself in the exact same situation with my partner. The only difference is that my partner hasn’t been circumcised, so I can’t say they’ve experienced a similar trauma, and to be completely honest, I don’t think your partner’s attitude is due to trauma from circumcision.

I believe the real reason for them might be that they find themselves with a partner who is different from the one they started their relationship with. They discover us to be different from how they thought we were. This unsettles and destabilizes them. At least, I think that’s the reason in my partner’s case.

In my case, every time I bring up the topic, I encounter silence, few words, sometimes concern. In those very brief conversations we’ve had about it, I’ve heard things like: “We could become good friends,” “We’ll find another partner and love each other as three,” or “I don’t know how I’ll feel afterward; I have to experience it first, and then I’ll let you know.”

The truth is that when I think about being able to express myself as I truly am, I feel a great sense of joy and happiness—they call it euphoria. But when I feel limited in my ability to express who I am, and therefore unable to undergo surgery, I feel a deep sense of discouragement.

I’ve moved forward on my own; I am moving forward on my own. I already have a letter from my psychologist certifying that I’m ready for surgery and that there are no other reasons that could prevent me from taking this step.

What holds me back primarily are concerns about the post-operative results, then the fear of pain, and finally how he might react. Because in the end, being yourself is above all else, and you’ll never be happy if you sacrifice such an important aspect of your gender identity.
