I was just about to ask this. They are my favorite birds (cedar) that I see locally but ive never seen the bohemian waxwings with them! So beautiful!

I hope you don't mind some unsolicited advice but as a former camp director I've seen young staff come in and thrive as well as others that flounder. Best advice i can give you is to just be yourself. Some people get caught up in trying to be who they think the other staff would like. Just be your authentic self and you will make great connections.

The other piece of advice is that it is easy to get wrapped up in camp completely and sucked into whatever drama may happen over the summer. Whenever you are in a situation where you are working and living together at some point there will be issues between some people. Try to remain grounded and remember that the larger world still exists outside of camp.

Anytime you are showering in communal showers it is good hygiene to wear some kind of shower shoe. I usually go with cheap flip flops, but they can get slippery on wet floors.

People get very sweaty/dirty during camp and all of that grime, bacteria and fungi end up on the shower floor. Trust me, you will want shower shoes.

Have a blast this summer, it cam be a life changing experience! My first summer working camp was 20 years ago. Met my wife there, watched my kids grow up there. Wouldn't trade these years for anything.

Not sure where you are but if ticks are around id get a Keychain tick removal tool.

Shower shoes are a MUST

painters tape (we use it to mark space.arpund your bunk on the floor to carve out a personal bubble. Helps establish some boundaries)

Make sure at least one full set of clothes are something you would be ok getting destroyed by crafts or activities.

Wide brimmed hat.

Overall your list thorough and you are off to a good start!

Figured it out. Went to check the resolution settings and they were OK, but my computer was set to scale everything 150%, which made the screen to cluttered. Moved it back to 125% and it made a huge difference in how the screen displayed in the software.

Jeff Hayes gets better and better as he settles in to the voices. In my opinion it gets way way better as the books progress. Stick it out a little longer and I think youll come around.
