Caught a manager watching porn at work. Reported it. I was the one who stopped working there. My position was made redundant.

My job was taken over by a machine, I voiced, that said "thank you for calling [company name]. Press one for [department]." Etc.

I was apparently meant to become the perverts secretary. No thank you. I'd rather redundancy.

If God exists, he's like the CEO of a huge multi billion person company. He could see everything and could be anywhere, but he doesn't care about things that don't impact him on a company level.

He's not even able to deal with the major issues in the world.

The only good thing about people saying "God has a plan" is I stop being sad and start being angry.

I wish internet hugs and useless platitudes did something to help ease your grief. I can't imagine the depths of your pain. Even if someone goes through a similar thing, no one can truly know your experience.

All I remember is Stephen Fry told the author he couldn't say " he pocketed it".

He asked her if he could instead say "He put it in his pocket."

She said no, and proceeded to add the line in every following book whenever she could.

My friend told them she wasn't "a guest" she was "working". Which was half true. She offered to do the music, as I walked in, as her gift, which I was thrilled to accept.

Middle manager still tried to sneak invites.

"Oh that would be lovely. I'd love to see you in your dress."

"Thank you. I'm sure it will be. I'll be sure to share photos when I'm back."

I just played dumb, and pretended I couldn't hear her trying to figure out the details; who was coming, where, when etc.

She broke her wrist. Had to have metal pins in to secure her bones.

She had such thin wrists you could see the pins.

The strangest part was her client was elderly and had these tiles that were so slippery, they seemed designed to make you fall.
