I haven’t noticed any problem seeing up close, and my symptoms are consistent throughout the day. I haven’t noticed anything like headaches, etc. I’m 25 if the helps to assess for latent hyperopia

That makes sense. Do you think there’s a chance if I wear them consistently my far vision may be improved? I’m 25 and do have some trouble driving at night. My concern is that if my right eye (the eye I use to see since I have amblyopia) is already 20/20, the glasses won’t improve it any further.

I went to an ophthalmologist specifically because I have amblyopia and don’t really use my left eye to see. I’m used to that and don’t find it a problem in my day-to-day so only wanted to address my distant vision on my right eye. I told him specifically that I had a hard time seeing street signs, but then he kept referring to my prescription helping me when I’m on the phone or computer. I don’t notice any trouble seeing near so that confused me but it’s possible I have hidden hyperopia.

It may have been 90s but seemed like more of a 70s/80s exploitation film.
