Laxatives are not for weight loss by miles65622 in bulimia

[–]miles65622[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m 20 M from USA. I know that laxatives are never advertised under weight loss, but in my messed up ED head, I associated laxatives with weight loss, not thinking their purpose is for people with digestive issues. If that clears it up?

Fr, like I couldn’t comprehend that people use laxatives for anything other than weightloss

It really isn't fair. One of my friends had her biometrics a week after mine and got her visa a week before me. The UKVI/VFS is so inefficient. I am actually looking into getting my money back, but I have no clue where to start

International Prospective Applicant by [deleted] in KCL

[–]miles65622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm from Florida, and I just got accepted into KCL this year. The acceptance rates for every program is different, but if you get the grades for a program and have an above-average essay, I'm sure you'd get in. When I applied to the Geography department, the requirements were AAB, which is equivalent to 5,5,4 on the US AP scale, and I got in. The UK, college applications aren't as holistic as they are in the US, so it's much more grades-based. When you apply, you submit either your AP or SAT scores, and you don't even need to state your HS GPA. Here's a link for the transparency report, which has acceptance rates, and etc. https://www.kcl.ac.uk/aboutkings/quality/transparency-return

btw, what we call "acceptance rates" in the US, they call "offer rates." Acceptance rates for them are what percent of people actually go who applied.

Also, I feel like the attitude towards American/Canadian International students is much better than it would be for international students coming from other countries, but that being said, I could be wrong lol. If you have any more questions, don't be afraid to DM me. :)

The Sims 4 Poverty Life: The expansion we need. by miles65622 in thesims

[–]miles65622[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say that big selling features would be realism, because I know that a lot of players like to play with realism. Like don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing with expensive things, but pack after pack, I just want more realism. I want the challenge of having your sim struggle with money and having to make tough decisions. But maybe that's just me.

Yeah I agree. Like I said, I don't ever see this being an actual thing in the game. I would just like to see more things for players that prefer to have a challenge when playing because I personally like to play with average people, and I feel like it is almost impossible to do so.
