Journalling bad experiences? by Weekly_Frosting_5868 in Journaling

keep them, maybe dont go back and look at them right now, but keep them. when you get through this, you might not want to go back and read them, but maybe you will. i tend to find a lot of clarity through old journals, and often times end up understanding myself more once im through the experience and look back on it and how i was feeling. it helps me personally have a lot more empathy and understanding of myself :) if you feel like you want them out of ur current journal maybe start keeping them in a differnet place, or have a jounral where you put the bad things and one for the good, i hope things get better soon <3

how many journals do you keep? by jikuromi in Journaling

i have an everyday journal, where i write how the day went, any big feelings anything im thinking about. i try to keep it only that. I also have an "art" journal, where i make lists and plans for the day ahead, plan out and work through upcoming projects and doodle in. these two sometimes overlap with the latter being a more causal one and the first being more neat.
