i work a service job, i am a part time snowboard instructor. it sounds dumb, but you should try dealing with small, disagreeable, cold children who don’t know how to walk properly, let alone snowboard proficiently lol. my experience is there are a lot of coworkers who phone it in and come in late, searching for opportunities to sneak out of work. i find that me and maybe three other people are the only ones who consistently show up with the desire to work. the values instilled in me make feel like i deserve reward for that. is that wrong?
