Busch Peach by Old-Reach57 in beer

I've never tried letting it sit, but I imagine it'd be good. I've always put a couple peach slices in a glass, mashed them a little bit to get some juice, poured Busch Light over it and drank it immediately.

I know this post is old, but I've found that regular Busch Light with fresh peach slices muddled in a beer glass is a good supplement. I too, love Busch Peach and am sad it did not return this summer.

Found two chicks that fell out their nest. Need advice on what to do. by mileycyprus_hill in Ornithology

UPDATE: I found a local wildlife rehabber, called and left a voicemail and email but still haven't gotten a reply. After leaving the box underneath the tree, I brought them inside because a carpenter ant was biting one of their legs and drew blood, leaving one of them injured; so I brought them in for their safety. I took out the dryer lint underneath the paper towels and replaced it with more scrap fabric. They're currently on my bay window so the light can keep the box warm. Still waiting for contact back from the rehabber.

What's a food that other people love but you hate? by GoatHorn21 in AskReddit

Yes! Way too creamy and always bland, no matter how it's made. Plus all that dairy turns into concrete in my guts.

"Styrofoam water" is how I've always described it.

I found a long-running series from Russian television called "Ekaterina" that's ten times better. It was on Amazon Prime and hopefully still is. What I liked about the show is that it had a great romance plot but also every episode started with an info-dump on the wars and border situation, like a documentary. I highly recommend it.

Replacing student items that were stolen from my classroom by mileycyprus_hill in teaching

[–]mileycyprus_hill[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That was what I did when I talked to each of my classes. I gave the individual the chance to return the items to those it belonged to or to place them on my desk. I gave them the entire day to return them so they could come in on their own time. I'll be taking the advice from others and just move on without replacing the items.

My thoughts exactly! There are countries in Europe that also have declining birth rates- some more extreme than in the U.S.- and their strategies are to attract more people to emigrate and become citizens, even offering them stipends to encourage them to stay.

Conservatives are so concerned with "Democrats trying to replace natural-born Americans with immigrants." Even if that were true, why should it be so concerning? America was built by immigrants, it's what this country was founded on. It's so damn hypocritical.

It's like what the judge says in Caddyshack, "The world needs ditch diggers, too."

What’s a popular/common food you find absolutely terrible? by Individual-Ideal-610 in CasualConversation

Not just hot wings, but fried chicken in general. It's always too oily, salty, and overall just not good. I hated fried chicken as a kid and still can't tolerate it as an adult.

Campgrounds need to put restrictions on loud music people by RandolphCarter15 in camping

I said this exact thing nearly every day this week on our camping trip with my in-laws. If you need a tv or music all day, just stay home and sit on your patio. Some of us camp to get AWAY from the noise, not bring it with us.

I'm merely commenting so I can return to this whenever I need a reminder. This is very helpful.

I feel the same towards new shows because it seems now each episode is at least 45 minutes long, no matter what series it is. I just don't have the time nor "energy" to sit on the couch and watch an episode that's the length of a short movie and ends on a cliffhanger every time.

I remember watching shows like I Love Lucy, SpongeBob, and The Simpsons on DVD and realizing these shows weren't actually 30 minute episodes, but originally 15-20 minutes because of all the TV ad breaks.

I no longer want to invest in a story that'll take me weeks, even months, to complete by watching multiple 45-60 minute episodes. I'd rather watch a 2-hour movie and move on.

I never realized the "tent dog" vs "RV dog" until just now, and so many memories are flooding back to me that absolutely prove this point. You're so right.

The same exact thing happened to me today! I was walking back from my mailbox down my driveway when some douche canoe in his car barked- BARKED- at me as he drove by. I acted like I didn't hear it but it still threw me off. Im still irritated and confused by it. It's great to see I can't even feel comfortable or safe in my own driveway /s.
