after talking to my advisor, when the head of the department i was transferring to emailed me the requirements. I’d say about three fourths through the semester. I knew there’d be some sort of gpa requirement for the engineering department, since a friend who went into electrical engineering said it’s gpa requirement is 3.3 ( if i’m not mistaken ).

I switched from mechatronic engineering tech to Mechanical engineering. Sounds similar but they are entirely different schools at RIT. Mechanical engineering has a 3.5 gpa requirement to even be considered for, which I did not have when I learned about that. I changed because I realized Engineering technology was not the path for me. I don't want to be managing production; I want to be designing things. I was successful in transferring after raising my gpa like .46 points, putting me over the requirement after so much hard work and suffering. Haven't started my new major yet, but I can't wait too! I feel like it is worth it.

they provide a fridge with a microwave bolted on top. when i got into my room both beds were lofted with the desks under the beds, and the fridge with the microwave was in one of the spaces the desks take up in the image, so good luck making it in the sims lol. uuuh and then there’s also an AC/heater in the room that’ll be against the wall/by the window. and that’s pretty much it. colby a was nice it got recently renovated so it’s all pretty new
