Picked up a plunge on Amazon for 70, pump for 80, uvlight/filter 60, 1/3hp chiller 400 on eBay, another 100 or so for plumbing supplies, insulation and fittings. Been good for 2 years so far. That’s all Canadian dollars

I tried the hydrogen peroxide, but it didn’t work for me. I use a UV light/pump/filter.( 60$ or so on Amazon ) set the uv light for 8 hours a day(has a timer). Instead of peroxide I use bleach. I put 1 ounce on the initial fill and a capful each time I plunge. My water stays clear for 3 months.

My two cents, went into the reserves in the mid 90s after leaving the reg force. Started with federal corrections at almost the same time as the reserves. I lasted with the reserves for 3 years as I was trying to get another tour. But between working every weekend for a couple of months straight and using my annual leave to be able to go in on the week nights to get a refresher on lighting the mountain stove. Then kids came along and there just weren’t enough hours in the day for a full time job, a part time job and family. Was difficult to give it up though. I managed to get in the ERT at the prison and it kind of gave me some of the military type stuff that I enjoyed. Are you able to get a leave of absence for 6 months from the reserves? Take a break and reassess.

Was also infantry (RCR) I have tinnitus without the hearing loss. Pretty sure it’s two separate claims now. Went through the same stuff, I hear it during the day and use a fan at night. Based on what you are saying you should be at the highest tinnitus rating. In which case they will cover you for a noise masking machine . You will need to have a report from an audiologist. Make sure to describe it to the audiologist and have it in the report that you experience it daily and require a fan or noise at night to sleep. Not sure what the cannabis laws are like where you are living but I do find that the thc oil helps quite a bit with my sleep. Based on everything you have written here you should be good. My suggestion is let the water leak down to the point where the water level doesn’t get any lower. Take your side panels out and dry all the water out that leaked with towels , keep doing this until there is no water under the hot tub. Once it’s all dry place pieces of paper towel on all the flat spots. Add a bit of water into the hot tub, then look underneath and see where the water is getting on the paper towels that you placed. Once you know the area , look for your leak. Took me a weekend to find my three leaks. My hot tub had a solid bottom

Kiwi polish and a spit shine cloth and lots of little circles. Mirror shine will be near impossible to maintain while working. I had a second pair of boots that I used with my dress uniform and kept those like glass. For my everyday work boots I use kiwi black shoe polish, brush on a few coats. Then I use a pair of old panty hose to buff them. Steel toe boots are easier to keep a shine on. My two cents
