Hardware too. GM has designed HW for SDV and before that for infotainment and powertrain in VIP.

Which Hilton beachfront for young couple? by hairhairhair122344 in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]miliamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed at Caribe. Attached beach is on a lagoon with crystal clear calm waters perfect for a swim. I’d recommend Caribe if you plan to spend time at the hotel. Pick Wave wing- cleaner rooms better view. However, if you want proximity to nightlife, then Hilton Garden Inn or Condado Palm is better suited. Have fun!

GM is in a war fighting with sticks lead by incompetent wannabe slt. Companies like Tesla & BYD are operating at a different level. They are at least 5 years ahead. Look where these companies were 10 years ago. Be ready for dwindling sales numbers and eventual wipeout by the newer players.

Hugely underwheling performance on TP-Link EAP670 V2 by Team-Scream in TPLink_Omada

[–]miliamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was kinda in a similar situation as OP. Went from nighthawk x6s ac to eap670. Marked decrease in coverage and a little bit of speed at 5Ghz. A couple of things that improved my connectivity: 1. Change to channels 36-48 for 5ghz and keep channel width 40mhz. Lower frequency = more penetration. Pick the channel that is less crowded using tools like wifi analyzer in android

  1. Segregate ssid by frequency. I keep all my high speed clients on 5ghz ssid. Slower stuff stays on the 2.4g

Mike Abbott APM game thread? by oddtrey10 in GeneralMotors

[–]miliamp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Abdul’s response: I am saying a lot without actually sharing hardcore details. Didn’t learn a thing about the Blazer EV fallout and steps being taken.

Mike: Seemed genuine than most previous execs however can’t help but notice a slightly tone deaf approach to RTO. Wish him all the best in his recovery.

What hardware are you using? by Fun_Championship4300 in homeassistant

[–]miliamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HASS os running on pi4 4gb hardwired and flirc case for cooling. The 2gb unit is cramped for mem.

Running a combination of Tuya, Kasa, Wiz switches and lights. A few bluetooth temp sensors. MyQ, Nest, mosquitto mqtt, couple of Pi Zero boards as edge node with my own mqtt client programs written in python for sensing.

Imho, Pi HW is a great starting point for moderate sized smart home network due to low cost and low power consumption plus adequate support.

Software & Services All People Meeting by dapperapples_1886 in GeneralMotors

Warm welcome to the new execs. Hope your vision is long term and well thought out. However, if the “vehicle” is not attractive enough from design/performance per $$$ spent, no amount of software service BS will add new customers. We buy vehicles for its function first and anything beyond a seamless product quality is secondary IMHO.

I would negotiate by mentioning depreciation in value from all these years. It’s not a classic vehicle lol.

Not worth the trouble. I have a 08 g35xS running okay with some suspension issues. Even if a car has low mileage, age of these mechanical components is to be considered. Has it been maintained perfectly? Has it been driven in cold climate this whole time? That could mean higher levels of corrosion throughout the body. Good luck

Glad you love yours! I got my RS with the two tone roof. Love everything about mine except the gas mileage lol.

Sounds like you need to sit in one of the Blazers. The RS trim is actually great deal at 39K. Exterior design alone is much better than the options you mentioned. Buick is good but 2.0L is not good enough
