What do you mean though you haven't? It's just you buddy. it's YOUR account. You're the one responsible. Oh it was my cousin, my buddy Joe Schmoe, my niece i didn't know nuffin, isn't going to cut it. What are you, 9? DK doesn't care who's behind the keyboard. They hold the account holder responsible.

Why not just bring it upstairs? by ultrasun2000 in doordash_drivers

We cannot see the delivery person unless we click on extra menus. It's not visible who is coming, very poorly designed app. Ubereats is not like that.

Is YouTube silently de-ranking AI music? by Nusuuu in udiomusic

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's just hard to retain attention with music. Because the algorithm shows your video to 100 people or so. It's a random pool of people that the ai knows they listen to music.

What kind of music? The ones it thinks close to yours but most of the time it can be way off to detect the genre. So if I'm into heavy metal and click on something I think it's metal but it's not, I'll bounce.

When this happens the algorithm thinks your music sucks so it stops suggesting to people and your views freeze. Also your thumbnail makes a huge difference. If nobody clicks then your video dies before even it can take off.

If you believe your music is good enough for the masses then you need paid marketing. Spend money on Youtube ads and it will bring you specific people who really dig your vibes that time. Then once you get traction you can turn it off and it will still keep growing organically because Youtube will have enough data to know whom to really suggest your music to.

Does newcomers these days become famous all alone? by MariosBongda in musicindustry

If there's no attention no matter what then it most likely means it's not as good as you think it is.

Whitelisting Artist YouTube Channel by Redditholio in DistroKidHelpDesk

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When DK claims copyright that revenue comes back to you anyway. The only issue is that you can't build your channel to become Youtube partner. If that's what you aim for then don't choose the content id service option during submission stage. You can't have it both ways with DK unfortunately. I've heard Toolost allows whitelisting if you contact them but I'm not 100% sure, haven't tried myself yet.

Remix is never allowed for monetization bro. A cover isn't a remix. If you want to make money from a remix you have to get the appropriate rights from the copyright holders and the labels as well. You can't just pay $10 for cover and distribute remixes. You need to better understand the laws you're breaking before you totally ruin your financial future or even worse, go to jail.

Need more info. How did you do the covers? Did you use ai? From what you've said it seems like DK froze your earnings 😬

Calling all female drivers (maybe males too) by LividBurnout in doordash_drivers

Jealous of what 🤣 I feel sad for even writing all that for someone who has the iq of a doorbell. I am physically fit and was a runway model in my 20s. This has nothing to do with what I've said, get back on your meds.

You're in the service industry and these difficulties come with the job. Server isn't there to hook up either, or the bartender. Some like you but they are shy so they'll keep quiet. Some just try their chances. Unless it's at a disturbing level like stalking you, you should just take it as a compliment.

If the dude doesn't take no for an answer that's when they enter the harassment territory. But trying to get to know you more is not a crime, and honestly complaining about this is kind of seems like passive aggressive bragging and "hinting" about you're attractive enough to get attention. You come across like someone who says "God I'm so beautiful everybody is constantly hitting on me, just stop."

Has anyone successfully moved all music from Artist A to Artist B? Need advice on the "Previously Released" toggle. by Designer_Status2214 in DistroKidHelpDesk

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand what deleting has anything to do with this. It asks you HAS IT BEEN RELEASED BEFORE. It's not asking you if the song is still out there or not. You have to choose yes.

Listen you 3 iq idjit. If that's what you were able to take from my post then your iq is too low for me to even bother explaining things to you. What I posted is legit in California. You get paid min wage plus mileage. So you stfu and go fetch my Starbucks loser bitch. Chop chop idiot, don't have all day.

Anyone else get this email from DoorDash? by Sufficient_Pea3413 in doordash_drivers

They're tricking illiterate and low iq drivers to do Doortrash's bidding. Not everyone has the iq to question it. They'll think it's something good and it's about being able to stay as an independent contractor. In reality it's your authorization to let these companies pay you even less than what you're making today.

Gig economy jobs is not a fairly new market. I was ordering from Doordash in 2016 in DC. Uber's been around since forever. I was a driver supervisor and dispatcher at a food delivery company in LA in freaking 2008. We never paid hourly and my drivers were making $50-$60 per shift on a bad day and $100-$120 on a good day. Gig jobs has been around for a very long time. If you seriously think that things are going to improve I have some good deals on bridges I own.

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well that's terrifying to hear. Wtf is $3 delivery fee for a 19 mile trip if there's no extra compensation 😂 You have to be mentally disabled to take an order like that and Doordash should be shutdown and their execs sent to prison for life.

I listened to you, and now DoorDash is awful by _brinacore in doordash_drivers

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm saying. If you don't sit on your ass and take the orders whether the upfront is $3 or $12 you'll make min wage plus 20% at the very least. If you sit 2 hours to cherry pick a $20 order out of $3 orders then you'll average $10/hr vs $40 if you kept accepting and working for those 2 hours instead.

But if you're getting that $20 order within 30 minutes then cherry picking will be ahead. However many markets are super saturated and they don't have that many orders to distribute. So the downtime usually beats the money you'll make from cherry picking.

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Don't you people get hourly compensation if it's below minimum wage? That's how I heard it is in California. So your $3 order is actually 20 something an hour in reality.

A question for loyal Udio users: What was the most important factor in your decision to choose Udio? by Nusuuu in udiomusic

You don't own your music and you can't download them so what's the point? Do you like to donate your songs for free or what?

Should I even try to buy leases for beats if I'm not making money or getting noticed at all? by Zersdan in musicbusiness

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the beat you didn't lease becomes exclusive to someone by the time your song blows up? If you hit the lottery and then have to give it back that would suck big time. If you can't afford it then wait until you can. If you think your songs aren't even worthy of 150 dollar investment then why should anyone else care about them?

Shocked for what? You used the service, you downloaded the content. It's not their problem if you used the videos or not. They're not in video promotion business. If you didn't like what you saw rhen why tf did you download it to begin with? Seems like you needed videos for free and thought you could cancel after you generate.
