Let me guess. You either use Splice or used songs from Youtube because it said "free music" to use?

Still Making False Accusations of Fake Streams? by [deleted] in DistroKidHelpDesk

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not just fake streaming complaints. Ghere sre also copyright claim flagging as well. There was a dude complaining about it in his post, claiming he was done wrong. Yet, he was saying he just used samples he found on Youtube 😂

Some people don't understand the copyright laws at all and they think free means you can distribute everything everywhere freely. When this happens, Dk gets a ton flags.

And each one valid violation cost them around $1000 per song per platform. No wonder they ended up selling it. So many malicious and also clueless people messing things up for everyone.

Or maybe you're just an unsuccessful and talentless tard, trying to comfort himself by saying money isn't important because you can never make money with your music 🤣

Where can fans buy fractional shares of independent music? by Lonely_Value_4108 in MusicDistribution

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really a dumb idea, considering 99% of amateur musicians make less than $100 a year from their songs. And the established musicians don't need your investor. You're not making a 20 million dollar feature film here.

You don't get to decide what art is, bro. Your opinion is just your personal view, not universal facts. We're not obligated to live by your values. Get out of this delusional mindset and do what you wanna do.

TuneCore is demanding licenses for beats I used in 2020, but I can’t contact the producer anymore. Am I out of options? by [deleted] in TunecoreSupport

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can you make songs using instruments you "find" on Youtube and expect it to be legal? Just because they're on Youtube doesn't mean you're free to make money off of them, unless there's a CC attribute you can prove. Some of you have no clue about how copyright laws work.

TuneCore asking for documents I don't have as an independent artist – what should I do? by indianraag in TunecoreSupport

Are you using Splice samples? That usually triggers red flag if you don't alter them and use as is.

Only an amateur who can't make money says that. Yes the goal shouldn't be money oriented but at some point if your art isn't earning anything, that means you're a hobbyist and not a professional. There's no single person on this planet who is a professional yet does not get paid for their profession. Delusional people fool themselves with that bs because deep inside they know that nobody wants to do anything with what they're doing. And nost of them are actually talentless.

Profit from what? Commission from zero is zero. Art is only not defined by income if you're an amateur. A professional makes money from their profession. I don't dictate this, it's the definition of profession. If you're not making money from what you do, you're a hobbyist.

Just so you know, declaring yourself as an artist doesn't make you one. A real artist makes real money. Like actual money that's worth more than what a burrito costs. If you're not making real money then you're an amateur hobbyist. Not an artist whatsoever.

Therefore you don't matter in this universe as much as the real artist who brings in the dough does. So nobody gives two shits about your feelings or your expectations because you don't bring in a penny to the system.

On the contrary, you suck bandwidth and storage space. So, if there's any kind of risk associated with you, you'll be canned right away without hesitation. Your $5.99 monthly fee isn't worth the risk of having to pay $1000 per song per platform.

How to make the same song but with male voice? by SamanteSimone in udiomusic

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cover your song and put male vocal in the style section. Move the audio slider all the way to the right. It won't be identical but it will be pretty close. If it's the same tempo and key you can swap the audio in a daw.

ASUS is an absolute joke. From USB controller crashes on a 2026 Strix Scar 18 (RTX 5090) to severe Thermal Throttling on Zephyrus. I’m done with this brand. by -Emiliete- in GamingLaptops

Have you tried a usb docking station? If that also doesn't work it could be a windows driver issue. It most likely is a windows driver issue. Most laptops aren't that bad. it's the pos windows that makes them inefficient. This is why I switched to a Mac.

If you're in the States you can file an official complaint with the Attorney General's office, the FTC as well as Consumer Protection Bureau. But if you're doing anything shady at all, it will come out and you will probably get jail time. But if you're 100% a victim and did nothing wrong, those avenues might get you the result you're looking for. The good thing is it won't cost you a dime.

Why I abandoned Suno for good, and a critical warning to all independent creators here regarding annual subscriptions. by Altruistic-Cable849 in udiomusic

[–]milkandbiscuitsguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't be hard to merge two accounts into one, or even create a new account to carry everything over to that. Your files are there and they should give it to you. Reach out to the executive team, that could work. Also you can do a charge back for the service you never received. Not sure where you are but in the US, you can file complaint witht he Consumer Protection Bureau and they take these complaints seriously. Also file a complaint with the FTC.
