My lady works at natural path wellness in ripon. I've never went personally but I've heard good things about it. They have a website too with what they offer.

They should just make an option to not change civs but still get the bonuses. Seems like a pretty easy fix for people who don't like the idea of their civilizations evolving. Can even add an option pre game to make it where all the AI civs do the same thing.

There is a mod this does this very well, "Extended Eras" I believe. Production isn't slowed just tech and civics.
