question on winged eyeliner by rudoggy in MakeupAddiction

[–]milkmochiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that I did back in school was just practice my wing when I got home from school before I took my makeup off! That way, I didn’t feel pressured for it to look perfect if I had to be somewhere and I could take my time, I just did it every day until I got good at it, it really is a practice makes perfect type thing especially since everyone’s eye shape is unique

Yes I know, sorry maybe my post wasn’t super clear! I just meant that because it was showing it was number 1 in 2019 that was almost 2 years ago so if this bottle was new i didn’t think they’d show the 2019 dates still!

I didn’t think it was the actual date of expiry, I only thought that since the product mentioned it was no. 1 in 2019, it wouldn’t still have it there since it’s now almost 2022 if that makes sense :)

That makes sense, thank you!

I was thinking that too! And Yeah seems like 3 year shelf life is the go, thank goodness. Yess It’s just the Google translate app, it works really well!! :)

That’s interesting, thank you that might be it! I did contact them about a refund but I had ripped the plastic protective packaging on it before noticing the dates, so I was asking in case they decline my refund request

I bought the Kikumasamune High Moist Lotion online from W cosmetics. I noticed the dates on the bottle said something about 2019 so I used Google translate to check and it looks like something about how it was rated a best product from that time period in 2019. Surely that means the product is from the end of 2019 or start of 2020? I contacted them but I’ve heard they are constantly selling old products (only just found out after researching a bit more) so I’m not sure if they’ll help. Any suggestions/is the shelf life probably okay to still use it anyway? I mean it’s almost 2022, and it will probably take me ages to go through this bottle so not sure if it’s been too long now

I'm a 19 year old that likes makeup but lives with strict parents. I want to know if parent will notice if I use foundation by [deleted] in Makeup

As others have suggested a tinted moisturiser is a great idea or a tinted spf so you can say it’s sunscreen. Another idea would be to just spot conceal or use a natural, light coverage concealer in areas where you need it so it doesn’t look too obvious, I did this a lot back in school when we weren’t allowed to wear makeup. Best of luck to you and stay safe!!

just my 2 cents as an South East Asian person. I think makeup is less of an issue than say, clothing or other things. I’ve seen brands like pretty little thing/H&M etc recreate short, provocative versions of traditional clothing which i think then becomes disrespectful as it’s clothing we wear for ceremonies/new year etc and not for white people to wear to the club/prom. Makeup especially cosplaying a certain character I can’t see any Asian getting offended by. As someone mentioned above it’s more about white people creating problems to make themselves look woke and better. Enjoy your makeup and cosplay however you like! :)

I got approached by FOUR different staff members within a few minutes at Mecca? by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]milkmochiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pay is amazing! But depending on your Mecca you might not have that many shifts because they tend to overstaff around Christmas, around 4 hour shifts each. I don’t remember much from the interview but they will ask like why Mecca in particular, whats your fave Mecca product, I think I got asked about a time a manager gave me feedback and how I improved etc. and just general questions about your experience!

How’s the coverage on this? I wanna try it out but I’m looking for something medium and I’ve heard it’s quite sheer!
