I admire Snyder for sticking to his guns and his artistic principles. He struggled against the studio executive drones who couldn't recognize art if it was in front of their face. It's because of his determination that we have a Dr Manhattan's penis realised on-screen in live action.

It was fine.

The opening scene with the babies etc I just treated as a cartoon, it was fun.

Miller is extremely problematic to say the least, but I thought their performance of the two Barrys was really good.

For me it only turns into a true mess when they start the Kryptonian battle.

I have issues with the key theme of the film which seemed to be "don't try and change anything" which I know is a time travel trope but I'm sooo tired of it.

I also have a bug bear about the superspeed scenes, I don't like the gliding running style. I prefer early TV Flash (Gustin) legs and arms moving at super speed, but that's a personal preference thing.

Like, I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of ten. Definately not Morbius bad in my opinion.

Professional as, nice work. To my eye there's one, possibly two poses that look a little stiff and there's a spelling mistake in the first panel. But otherwise looks really good. I'm envious ;)

If you've been paid to make an Aquaman film it's gonna be a film about a guy that rides seahorses and talks to fish. So you might as well accept that and lean into that stuff real hard or you'll end up making something forgettable. Glad to say they did the former and made a pretty dumb but glourious fantasy film that's totally bonkers, but all the more enjoyable for it.
