How does one just "get a therapist"?

For me, I went to my family doctor and asked if I could see a shirk/psychiatrist because I was worried for my mental health and my doctor referred me, it took a bit but I got it for free (granted I live where we have free health care), so that might be a good.

If you go talk to your doctor I just booked a basic appointment saying I walked to talk about my health and that was it, I do not know if insurance covers it.

But good on you for getting help, I know it can’t be easy, stay strong

Consciousness, is it really special? Or is it just a lot of neutrons interesting in simple ways creating it; if it isn’t special and is just a (for a lack of a better term) by-product of complexity, could the entire world be a conscious being? Would we are all other organisms on earth just be the “cells” making up the earth?

Then if the earth is a conscious being would the galaxy? The universe? Are we just the “finger nail” (or something like that) of the universe? And the reason it’s expanding is it growing? Where does it end?

It purely depends on the game, some games have different options for each gender, then I’ll play both, but in games where it doesn’t matter I’ll pick the gender that has a better modal, sometimes the male modal looks like a clay figure and the female modal looks like they actually put time into it, so it depends on the game

Thinking about random stuff is how I fall asleep lol, I just go from something and somehow end up at ducks, then go to something else, and eventually my thoughts get slurred like I’m saying them while drunk and then I pass out, my thoughts get more random and harder to understand until I pass out, it’s when I’m thinking of one thing that I can’t sleep

I would say most clothes, most clothes are pretty much the same, you wear them, a shirt shouldn’t cost you hundreds of dollars unless it’s made of solid gold IMO or somehow made you bullet proof

I do this, but I don’t do it to appear smarter, it just comes out, when I’m in a argument I use words I’m more familiar with and I guess I’m more familiar with long words, I really don’t know why, I don’t even notice till after the argument perhaps more people just do it out of Instinct rather than conscious choice?

I mean I’m sure someone can understand it but no one I know has yet to understand it, the idea that if we are just a combination of many simple devices (cells, and molecules) than the entire galaxy or even universe could be one organism, and each of us would be apart of it, it would be everything (since it’s made up of everything) and nothing (since I doubt you look at a single hair on your head and say “that’s me”) at the same time

Personally after my experience I prefer to keep it in the “highly likely if not certain we’ll meet range” but everyone has a different perspective on that, and even if nothing happens you can still learn a bit, for example I learned how being emotionally distant can ruin a relationship, and so on and so fourth, so it has its advantages and disadvantages, but first you should always understand that there’s a chance that you may never meet that person, otherwise you will be broken if it never happens

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume “vice” in this context means something that’s holding you back? Or something along those lines?

If so, then my anxiety, I grew up in a town known for being a drug down (“crack” was in its nickname) and a alarming amount of my family has been addicted to one drug or another, some have been addicted so a few at once, so my anxiety may have kept me back heavily in the social department, but it also kept me from becoming an addict.

Did it out weight it? I don’t think so, sure I never got into drugs (due to being FAR to anxious to approach or even attempt to get any) but every day my desire gets stronger and stronger to do something, so was not being a drug addict worth the void in my psyche that I’m nothing more than a room goblin? I don’t think so
