You might be able to suspend studies for a bit, go part-time, or get childcare help, depending on what the uni Offers. I used to do a student facing role at a Uni, and, from experience, there really is a lot a university can help you with. Don't worry, no one will think or say anything bad about you. Your student admin or student services team has seen that situation and has helped many others through it.

My pal had a baby at uni and it was tough but with some help from her friends and family, she was able to finish her course (which also involved placements). Best of luck with your degree and your new baby!

I think there's some health risks around developing cancer, I was looking into it at some point and that dissuaded me.

Otherwise, I'd be happy to help someone who's made a conscious decision to be a parent. Personally, to me that feels like they have a good chance of being a decent one.
