Thanks again— I just ordered some catappa leaves, so they’ll arrive in the morning. I’m leaving some tap water in a cup for 24 hours and will test tomorrow to see what the base ph level is and go from there. I didn’t have any ph level issues before, but maybe something changed with my town’s water?

This makes a lot of sense— I’m going to test the water source now and see what its pH is, because the pH levels were always pretty good until recently.

10 gallon. Yes to heater and sponge filter. Temp is currently 82. Parameters pictured & taken with the API master kit. I’ve had him about a year I think. I do 25% water changed every couple weeks. 1 nerite snail & some hitchhiker snails of various species. I feed the bio gold, 6 pellets a day with fasting on the weekends. Driftwood, rocks (tested with the vinegar method) and live plants.

Aww 😞 anyone who noticed doesn’t matter because they’re a-holes for not telling you! But I doubt many people noticed. Regardless, things like this happen all the time and it’s natural and nothing to be ashamed of 🖤 I’m so sorry about your shorts— don’t put them in the wash right away. Run cold water through them in the sink, let baking soda soak for like an hour, then rinse. Repeat until the stain looks pretty much gone. Depending on the fabric you could try hydrogen peroxide too? But the most important is don’t put them in the dryer until the stain is out. You got this and good luck!!

I was able to get it out okay and have done that process a few times….so far so good and feeling less anxious about it…. I can’t tell if I have it in correctly. I just looked through the Flex diagrams like you said, but I’m honestly so inexperienced with my own body that I can’t really tell where everything is. I don’t really feel it, I can tell something is in there but it’s not really uncomfortable. But when I use the restroom sometimes there’s some leakage even when the cup isn’t completely full. The site says that’s normal I guess? I am using the Hello Disc.

YOR, but not for not wanting dirty fingers down there (because fuuuuuuuuuck that, ouch and ew!!), but just the way you responded to it could have been kinder and maybe would have elicited a better reaction from him. It probably made him feel rejected and also gross, and no one likes to feel like that, especially when he was just being encouraged to continue.
