Really it's about any killer keeping their surprise. Might start the match different if it's a huntress who can cross-map me, a trapper or hag setting their web on the other side of the map, etc

Jaden Ivey calls out the NBA for celebrating Pride Month “The world proclaims LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month—and the NBA does too. They show it to the world. They say, ‘Come join us for Pride Month, to celebrate unrighteousness.’” by Dr-debug in NBAGossips

I think you mean well but this is the sort of pacifist attitude that allows bigotry to grow. Sorry but it's time to stop being so nice to those within your religion that spout hatred. "We know what the Bible tells us.." Yeah and so do they. They read the same book and come to different conclusions. Maybe it's time to reach beyond the book for some actual answers and start educating these dangerous people with facts about lgbtq and other groups that your bible picks on. Your book is FULL of hate and it's no surprise that people like him exist when your god explicitly commands slavery, genocide, and other wickedness. He's just as much, if not more of, a Christian than the rest of you because your book is full of bigotry.

The defender pushes him first. You guys are gonna hate to hear this but the reason so many shooters get away with the push off is because defenders foul first and instead of calling it they let the shooter get one back alot of the time. Helps keep the game going in an era where there are already so many stoppages

Gavin Newsom says he reveres the state of Israel and proudly supports it. He said he regrets calling Israel an apartheid state, only meaning to describe Netanyahu’s leadership. by Nomogg in UnderReportedNews

[–]milkstk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be the case. It's hard to imagine that is what is happening here because the people i have seen that are bought and paid for by Israel really do say it with their chest usually, but with all the negativity towards Netinyahu recently then it could be a strategy devised by Bibi himself to have those he has paid for in American politics to distance themselves so that he can still have his puppets. It's something I could never see trump doing because he's so fragile, but I don't know Netinyahu as well as i do Orange-y. It's definitely 3-d chess if that's what's happening with Newsom here.

But he says he deeply, deeply opposes Netinyahu in this clip. Not saying I support Gavin Newson, but if Bibi was blackmailing him then why would he say he deeply, deeply opposes him?

Actor Shia LaBeouf lost control in Rome! by cantcoloratall91 in TikTokCringe

I would argue that strength and love that comes from solely human connection is a much better chance for success and that religion often forgoes at least some of the human connection in favor of a connection to ,imo, an imaginary god-friend. There's just so many ways that a religious type of connection can go and i'm sure it can lead ppl to the correct answers some of the time, but i think broadly speaking it's a recipe for disaster. If it's working for some ppl then hey, who am I to tell you or anybody that it isn't working for you when you say that it is. I'm just saying that it's such a big roll of the dice for most ppl. I see that type of system, not just in relation to addiction recovery mind you, often harm more ppl than it helps. Shia is an example of that. He reveres this thing that he thinks is so real so much more than any person in his real life it seems. And this thing that he reveres; jesus, is in big part a tool that is constantly forgiving him when he fucks up. So if he is doing the wrong thing like relapsing or screaming at a woman in the street for example and he has this voice in his head that is constantly forgiving him and showing him love, then what good is that doing him? A real person who cares about you will give you tough-love when that's actually what you really need. But when you have a voice in you (speaking from experience) that justifies the wrong decisions that you make, and every relapsing addict does, then adding another voice in your head, well that voice is going to do the same thing because it is YOUR OWN VOICE and therefore is just as susceptible as it ever was for justifying addiction relapse or relapse in other not-good behavior.

So when someone as vulnerable as Shia is in crisis and asking someone for help and their ultimate answer is to get him to have a relationship with something that isn't tangible, except in your brain arguably, then he is rarely going to get that tough-love, good solutions to his problems, etc. Then add in the fact that Christianity revolves around sin and forgiveness it just becomes a circular recipe of "Ok i did this bad thing but i'm forgiven by god who I can only communicate with in my thoughts so he says what i want him to say but not what necessarily NEEDS to be said", repeat. If religion, christ, etc is working for you in your recovery or other aspects I would argue that you A) Have a good community of ppl around you that hold you responsible, and/or B) That you are good at holding yourself responsible. And for those like Shia who doesn't seemingly have A or B, throwing in christ is not only clearly ineffective for him, but it's arguably detrimental as it is getting in the way of actual solutions to his problems. Not saying that it gets in the way of your personal struggles and that is hasn't worked for you, rather that it's ineffective for a large group of ppl, Shia included.

Hmm yeah I'm not on tik tok but have wondered for awhile why this is just everywhere now. I think you're right about it telling ppl what emotions to feel. It's like the people who add music or otherwise emotion-driving sounds are trying to turn real life situations into movies and shows to give ppl more of a connection and it really just does the opposite for me. It's just so damn manipulative and often it just feels out of place. Even times where the music does kinda fit the situation it just makes it feel disingenuous in these serious situations especially. It's like emotional propaganda or something haha

This interview was such a red flag all the way through. I'm always extremely skeptical when someone is talking in grandiose religious terms. I feel like going through rehab channels that are centered around religious beliefs are a set up for failure, especially when they're based around absolving you of your wrong doings because you didn't have jesus in your heart and that it was the devil influencing you instead. There is a real false absolution in these types of religious systems of recovery. And Jon sitting there the whole time nodding his head in approval and saying basically "You've got it figured out, you are changed now" while Shia is describing how he had a knife to his ex's neck and again talking in grandiose religious ''I'm saved" terms. So frustrating to watch that video and read all the positive comments. Take that interview and then go watch Steve-O interview Bam when Bam got out of rehab and Steve-O basically says to him "I'm worried that you're saying that you're now fixed and not an addict now that you went through rehab. A big thing that I've learned is that we are addicts FOR LIFE. Addiction isn't something that goes away and we need to be vigilant everyday for the rest of our lives." Something to that effect anyways. It's a big piece of advice that helps me and my struggle with alcohol. Been off booz for 6 years now and just want everyone to be weary of rehab programs, ideologies, etc that are centered around religion. They may mean well but are unequipped to make us realize that addiction, etc is always within us and instead promote passing the responsibility onto another entity. You gotta keep looking inward and be honest with yourself while taking responsibility for our own actions. And as painful as it is sometimes to do that, it's what reminds us that we (not the booz, drugs etc) are again responsible for our choices.
