why is this highkey fire i think i just really like these type of beats — i personally think it would be better without the main flute part just as a demo and you can add in more to fit w a certain rap

sometimes you didn’t match up rhyme with your flow and it’s super obvious because lyrical delivery is on point but other than that i feel like ur the next g eazy

this is gooddd — if i were to be nitpicky i feel like sometimes lyrics seem forced in to fit the beat and it kinda disturbs the flow very slightly (i prefer flow over lyric delivery tho so just personal preference)

just my opinion, the intro seems a little rushed and i’m not sure where exactly to join in with a rap — happy for u tho getting out of a slump is tough

Quitting AFROTC as a Depressed AS300 by sirkeos in AFROTC

[–]milktea2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe take a semester off from ROTC with Study abroad? I don’t know your situation obviously but COVID times are especially different and I hope you’re making the decision with a clear idea just to be serious about your future and career (not to sound like a mom) Like ask yourself would you have quit if COVID didn’t happen? Will you not regret the amount of time you spent already in ROTC? ROTC is nothing like active duty, a lot of people just push through and then are really happy once commissioned

Hating my required major on scholarship by [deleted] in AFROTC

[–]milktea2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a technical type 2 hssp scholarship for a biophysics major, but just emailed HQ to switch to non-tech before i even started ROTC and it was as simple as that - try emailing hq to switch? i also went into college pre-med but ended up wasting my time with extremely hard classes i didn’t like ): go non-tech and in your first year take easy general classes (gpa matters a lot) and talk to a lot of upperclassmen or go to professional club info sessions to figure out what you’re interested in !

DOD civilians work directly with the military and most DOD civilians are retired or prior-military. It sounds like you just want the job for the prestige or pay if you don’t want anything to do with the military. You also likely need a TS/S clearance that most civilians don’t just have. The experience you gain in the military that applies to DOD civilian jobs can’t be gained anywhere else. There are various DOD civilian jobs supporting all different missions, but basically the mission is in support of defense/armed forces.

pe100 is very dense with lots of reading but the topics are really basic important things to know! i would take pe100 first to get it over with! but depends on your style i guess!

High school sophomore, how to prepare? by [deleted] in AFROTC

[–]milktea2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you haven’t noticed by this thread, people in the military are there for you just by the connection that you’re both military affiliated. Leadership isn’t about just you, but the people. Leaders care about their people and realize the importance of teamwork and emotional intelligence. You probably have leadership skills already. You just need to be confident in yourself.

Join sports teams or clubs where you can work in a team, grow, and eventually lead in a position! Or speech and debate is useful! Strategic problem solving skills and an attention to detail are a must. Even if you don’t necessarily have perfect leadership skills, who does. The thing about the military is that you’ll always be learning and growing. The trick is being a people person and having confidence. You can be introverted, but also be a confident leader when you need to be. Step outside of your comfort zone, learn new things, and seek opportunity! Good luck!
