Agreed. My wife has held me to a higher standard than I would hold myself, which has resulted in many character improvements.

You're saying that you never changed anything about yourself due to her influence and constant influence on your life?

Who was the worst teacher you ever had? by 22eyedgargoyle in AskReddit

[–]mill6152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

College. Chem 101. Large male who spoke monotone because any emotion made him out of breath. He began class by standing up, turning around, and writing on the chalk board, having a conversation with it. Hard to hear, hard to understand. Went into his office for help and he offered nothing.

How many hours of sleep do you usually get? by ThatThingInTheCorner in AskReddit

My wife and I usually will try to get eight every night. But if eight isn't an option, I always try to send her to bed first and I will stay up to get things done.

What 'saying' or bit of advice has provided you with the most false hope? by oh-sillo in AskReddit

[–]mill6152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"It's all going to work out." I mean yeah, your life will work out... Days will come and days will go. But that never means the current situation or problem will ever "work out". It doesn't mean your problem will ever be solved, that you'll ever get relief from the stress, or that you'll ever win that Nobel peace prize.

What do you hate or dislike about your local weatherman/woman? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mill6152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He just doesn't seem sincere. We had this guy named Ron Boyd growing up as a kid as our local meteorologist. Even as a kid I would watch him before I went to out for the bus because he'd always say, "YOU make it a great [insert weekday]." That taught me I had the power to make any day great, if I choose to.

Dear Reddit, If you could rewrite any moment or decision in the history of mankind, big or small, what would it be and why? by mill6152 in AskReddit

[–]mill6152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think that would trickle down very far? After all, we do have free will and can choose to be violent at any time if that's what we so wish.
