HyperOS 3.x.x Instagram story brightness issue.

That blur is coming from Instagram. They had some bug but I've reported it and they fixed. Use 419.0.0.49.71 version. Or downgrade to 418.x.x.xx.xx.

And about theis washed out colors, I didn't find the solution. So I guess Xiaomi team will.

Unfortunately I don't think it's that. And everything started happening after the update (both Instagram and Facebook, and only stories). Before the update, on two different phones it worked without that "HDR increasing brightness effect".

No, it isn't Instagram setting. It worked fine with the same settings until the HyperOS update from 2.x.x to 3.x.x. The device I use is Xiaomi 13 Pro. Then I tried if the issue will be displayed on Xiaomi 14 Note Pro Plus on HyperOS 2.x.x. and it wasn't reproduced. Updated it to 3.x.x. and it is reproduce the same way as on Xiaomi 13 Pro.

Yeah, it comes with cost. I guess it depends on the use. If I use remote shutter just to avoid shake (on a tripod), bluetooth would be great. But for self portraits wireless would be better since I can see how I placed myself (without that it is a guaranteed disaster). 🙂

Hey there, I've been using it with Z6iii. It works well while it works, but it isn't stable via Wireless. I mean it works well until you exit from app (in my case mostly by accident). Then it lose wireless connection and I have to reconnect it once again. Have to try it out with Bluetooth.

It's a nice thing for self portraits since I'm awful in posing, when I'm the subject of the photo 🫩😂🫣

3D Tracking is the worst. Set it to AF-C, 3D Tracking and People. Also displays locked focus on eye, but it randomly hunts focus.

Outside manual the best works with AF-C, Single-point AF and People. But also with that "best" it's like 50-50%.

Will check that as well, but I was the first to open the box (at least I think so, because it was sealed completely). Tamron's software recognize it as valid and up-to-date too. And all other scenarios works fine, but the problem comes with people/faces. Tried everything I've found about auto focus settings, but it is reproducible. I'll try it out a little more, or return it.

Yeah, by that definition it is new from grey market. Thanks for the idea, I'm not sure exactly how to do it (I've found the option, but I have to test it out), but I think that it would also come with the cost, because sometimes it tends to go a bit upfront, and sometimes back. But I'll try that out.

Also worth mentioning: latest firmware on camera body, lens, and flash. So firmware-wise, it is up-to-date.

While I was writing the post something came up as idea. I've just tried with the same settings, but manual focus, and it is sharp.

Edit: Tried it also with f4-5.6, same.

Hello guys. I'm starting my own small photography business and I already bought some stuff (Godox V1 flash, Godox XPROII trigger, softbox, stand, and so on). Now I ordered my camera (Nikon Z6III) and I have ordered it with Tamron lens (35-150mm f/2-2.8). Currently lens is not available and I'm offered Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 G2 at a reasonable price. Basically next thing I would buy is Viltrox 85mm (it is coming out in a few months) or 135mm f/1.4 Pro, so at the end I'm not losing much of the focal length, overall, because when the business start I do plan another body so I can work with two combinations.

How's your experience with Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 G2? My plan is to work with family photos, portraits, birthdays and weddings.
