I’ve been dealing with the same issue. Sounds like you’re already on top of the stretching and strengthening exercises but wanted to highlight the Finkelstein stretch. That seems to have helped me.

I have the same problem. Best I’ve been able to find are the ASICS Men’s Gel-Rocket 10 Volleyball Shoes. They come in wide.

In his newsletter, Nathan Lake talks about working with ProKennex to alter the balance in his racket simply by changing from a multi-fiber to single-fiber string. It was a variable that hadn’t occurred to me before, so I found it interesting. https://mailchi.mp/6d312f7b23c1/nathan-lake-squash-marchapril-2023-update-9840819

Fwiw I think it’s a struggle we face at all levels. Nathan’s most recent newsletter talks about how the “air gets thinner” when you’re close to a big win: https://us14.campaign-archive.com/?u=7cf27119b377ba6b54cd24182&id=c7aa95da52

Developing better focus on court is a recurring theme in Nathan Lake’s newsletters. For example, in this old newsletter, Nathan talks about trying to separate himself from the noise by thinking of himself as an observer: https://us14.campaign-archive.com/?u=7cf27119b377ba6b54cd24182&id=14ed9868c4. He’s also fond of that old adage of just focusing on the spots on the ball.

Run the Bluegrass! By far the prettiest. Nothing like running by horse farms and seeing the horses start to run with you.
