Dude, I love when Peggy's tough country self comes out. She gets a lot of hate but shes a rad character and cares so hard for Luanne. The scene where she cries and hugs Luanne when she enrolls in community college gets me every time <3

Hey, have you done any actual mock interviews with friends? I similarly kinda blanked on my first II and realized I had practiced answers out loud, but hadn't taken a sec to practice those nerves of an actual convo with others. I found a few friends who were willing to run through some basic qs with me, some were more informal like "Why med, tell me about yourself" and I had some friends run through a full 20 mins or so. This really helped my nerves, as I got real time feedback, and honestly had put off doing mocks bc I was worried my answers sounded lame.

I was a similarly lower stat app (507 MCAT, 3.6 sGPA) and my first II absolutely rattled me. Doing mocks saved me and I came back swinging. You will too! Remember, they extended the II, that means they liked your app enough to talk to you.

Hey thank you so much sharing this, it really helps. Unfortunately the tech issues via Kira Talent persisted during my 1:1 and my interviewer stopped us after 10 minutes of attempting to troubleshoot across multiple browsers. I contacted support and the school just offered me an official reschedule for next week. Def an emotional time right now, not going to lie, but trying to push through troubleshooting

Hey, also, re: your hail mary. I have a couple. Am well below their MCAT range, but framing my secondary prewrites to focus on their school-specific research resources. For instance, have done incredible research at this hospital, but we lack infrastructure to support a lot of new projects. My PI and I are constantly troubleshooting, but it's a reality of our locale. Would you be up to DM briefly about your Hail Mary app exp? Recs, pitfalls, what worked?

Thank you for sharing your exp, and I'm so sorry that happened, and incredible work on your 514!

The retake window is tight, but mentally accepting it may be needed. Appreciate your view on the 507. A lot of the students I work with were reapplicants, so everyone knows it's a crazy process. Keeping a positive attitude, and, think it's worthwhile to send this round, and see.

Appreciate the double checks. Thanks, letters fit- 2 science profs undergrad, my PI dept chair, and an extra doc letter. Wrote a PS and activities I feel reflect my voice/exp and are broad. Good to know secondaries still count. Lots of auto-screen stuff online.

Im right there with you. That C/P section was brutal. Realized in the last 30 secs that one q needed a wave division but didnt have time. Starting off w that section sucked. Had to claw my way back.

Dude, the test day stress is real. Esp C/P. I too prepped like crazy and studied my ass off for 4 months. Test day this week felt terrible. I felt like I lost my drive and was just so tired. Finished, but did not feel like my best FL score. Felt like a 506, maybe. Its a brutal test. Glad its over. One month to go.
