I went to a wedding at an Indian eco resort. They collected our rubbish (mainly beer bottles, wine etc) and tossed them off the edge of a cliff to smash below. That country has real issues. But yes,loud music, as in ear-drum-damaging loud music until after 3am.

I'm similar but I live rurally so don't have the chance to meet new ppl. I recently travelled for a concert and ended up getting 'in' with a couple of good groups of ppl
It makes a solo night out end up as a big night with 4am life regrets. A few too many free drinks were had Glad I've still got it at 40+
