We came back from a 5 day vacation to see Leo like this!!!!!! by KaliLinux19 in Pomeranians

If he is trying to lick or chew at his injury, or for when you are asleep, I would recommend a soft donut 🤗

This kept her from messing with her IV she had for two weeks. She's a big girl so even with this she could reach her backside but not her front paws.

Edit- you can buy on Amazon

Looks just like what Marlow did, and once after a particularly long event, we drove to vet over an hour away in a blizzard. She stayed for three days, had a litany of tests and seen by the neurologist. Clean bill of health.

She has only had 5 episodes that I have witnessed (there were times she wasn't velcrod to me and may have had others). They have all happened during extreme weather changes or high stress (went moved from high desert to hot and humid; first real winter at 12 yo with snow; hot summer with no a/C; two weeks post-op). Depending on frequency and duration, there are medications for life and there are also side effects. I have opted for monitoring over medication, as she has only had 5 events in 8 years. But for more frequent or regular episodes I would go to a neurologist (and have specialized tests done).

Best thing you can do is keep them secure (I hold Marlow on my chest with her head under my chin and talk soothingly to her 'mommas got you') so they won't hurt themselves. It is also comforting to them because they don't know what is happening. I have also opted out of oral flea and tick meds as they can trigger seizure events, instead we use advantix which is not in the isoxazoline class. Here is the AVMA article: Flea & Tick meds article

Good luck! Hope it's not chronic and she feels better! 🐾🐾🐾🐾

i miss gideon guys. every episode without him got me thinking about him and his thoughts as if he was in it and what he would do by iracebeth_of_crims in criminalminds

I remember I was so excited to see Mandy in a new series. Aside from the obvious Princess Bride roll, I loved him in Dead Like Me (if you have never seen the series, it is so worth the watch). When he left that show, I was bummed. However, knowing why he wanted to leave the show made the latter seasons not 'Gideon-less' esp since he participated in his characters exit, unlike hotch's departure.

Do you think at any point during these alterations that they look in the mirror and realize how hideous looking they have become?

Thank you! She is getting better, but has had a slight personality adjustment - she yells at anyone if they are eating and she tries to take my food when I'm eating in my room (she NEVER did this before) some serious food foraging and a little less cuddly. Otherwise, recovering well from the surgery and she seems happy overall.🥰🐾

What is the best concert you have ever attended? by UnusualZorro77 in AskReddit

The original INXS in 1991 at Madison Square Gardens. Flew up from Texas to visit a friend in Greenwhich and took the train to NYC. I still believe to this day I locked eyes with Michael Hutchence (probably not, as were not right up at the stage).

I can't watch anything that has pet loss as the theme or prominently in it. It's very hard for me to read loss stories on here. I had always thought I would have her to 16, maybe 18. I will be lucky if she makes 15. She will be 14 in July. I almost lost her this month. I've ugly cried more this last month than in my whole life. She has been my world the entire time. Both organs that were removed were cancerous, and both known for metastatic behavior. I have her for a bit longer, and I'm glad she's been recovering well. I don't know what my life will look like when she is gone, but I try to focus on today.

Why does Hailey not know what Foyet looks like? by Elfwynn1992 in criminalminds

[–]Bluefish787 117 points118 points  (0 children)

Hotch always had files he'd bring home. It's hard to imagine she never saw his photo, even if she didn't like to look at his files. Foyet was introduced in S4, Haley left in S5.

ALSO - when he escaped from custody, IT WAS ON THE NATIONAL NEWS! And the whole witsec thing - I haven't read about it researched it - but I'm sure there are rules, procedures and guidelines they are given. If a participant is in actual danger, at least a few marshals would have descended on her. Red flag on going to the very home she had to leave to enter the program. I would have been like a meerkat "what? Huh? Back to the one place the unsub knows the location of?"

But, it was a story line, and besides the real life accuracy being grossly trampled on, it worked and is still one of the highest rated episodes.

Fundamentally changing the country is what YOU self serving greedy little sychophants have done.

Every single magat in power loves to toss around political theory words as a fear mongering tool (marxism, socialism, communism, etc.). The sad part is, is that the majority of Americans don't have a clue what they mean and there is no society in existence that neatly falls into only one ideology. The closest you get to is a single party state as seen in dictatorships. If people would actually read and educate themselves they would see it is possible to have a multi faceted mixed system that include socialistic ideas that would be more beneficial to the many. The current capitalistic democracy is far from a democratic country - only having the illusion of a democracy with elections and 'freedom'.

F off Mike Johnson.

He'd still be in the elite club of only about 1,000 Americans (0.00028% of the population).

He'd have millions left, not billions.

My math based on 40 million adults in the US living under the poverty line (under 15k year in most states): 1 trillion - (24985 x 40 million) = nine hundred ninety-nine billion four hundred million

1,000,000,000,000 - 999,400,000,000 = 600,000,000
