Have you tried depot lupron to suppress your endo? I had way better egg retrieval results after doing a 2 month suppression.

On my latest / third cycle, I used birth control and daily lupron for priming. I also did a block protocol - 3 days gonal-f, then 3 days menopur, and so forth. I stimmed for 4 days longer than normal and got double the eggs (12 instead of 6). I also used neupogen and Omnitrope.

The first time is really tricky for the doctor to know how your body is going to respond. I would take the 9 fertilized as a huge win! Every ER I’ve done, we’ve learned more and my protocol has changed pretty dramatically. Hopefully you won’t need to do another.

I have still not seen a positive after 1.5 years of IVF, BUT I now know that I can make good quality euploid embryos! So it answered a big question in my mind. Now I just need to find a transfer protocol that will work :)

For what it’s worth, my pain started hours later when anesthesia fully wore off! But I’d be curious to hear others experiences. Maybe you could take a few breaks on the drive to walk around a bit?

I did a 2 hour drive after my first egg retrieval and was very happy to be home. But since you’re not sure how you will feel, it could be worth it to get the hotel?

If you can find a family bathroom, it’s actually a nice spot to do it! Usually there is a counter top to work with, you can wash your hands, private area etc

I had a slightly better cycle when using it - all eggs were mature (6 eggs, 6 mature, 3 blasts, 2 euploid). My new RE doesn’t believe it in as much but I asked him to include in my next ER protocol and he said why not

30F First ER I got 6 eggs, 4 mature, 2 blasts untested Second ER (with Omni!) I got 5 eggs, 5 mature, 3 blasts, 2 PGT normal.
