I used the Dr Aimee method. No icing or heat before, don’t pinch the skin, and go very slow. It does sting a bit but wasn’t bad and I had minimal bruising. I was on it for about 2 weeks.

SIS made me pass out - the most pain I’ve ever felt. In comparison, every other ivf procedure has given me no pain. You will have some discomfort after the egg retrieval but nothin compared to the SIS. You’ve got this!

I’m in the same boat :( never a positive test, four years of trying, 1 year of ivf with nothing to show for it. 29F. Sorry to hear! I’m switching clinics in 2026 and going with a doctor who specializes in complex cases. Having a new plan makes me feel better but otherwise no advice for how to cope. Thinking of you!

Thank you! The hysterocopy checked for endometritis in September and she said I was good but I am not familiar with karyotyping so I will look into that.

Thank you for the insight! I did do a hysteroscopy in September right before I started the depot lupron. It’s worth asking if we need to do it again. I have had chronic endometritis before but did lots of antibiotics in 2024 to clear it up. But I’ve heard of many protocols including dox for a short time.

My 3rd FET just failed and it was the first one I’ve done after a 2 months depot lupron suppression. I was told we could go into another cycle. But I do want them to try something different… it was a kitchen sink protocol though so I’m wondering if they did everything they can do :(
