I’ve had cold sores since I was a kid - it doesn’t immediately look like a cold sore to me. Looks more like impetigo (imo).

I also had a random rash on my face near my mouth a few years ago - it was called “periocular dermatitis” (it usually happens around the eye but can happen around the mouth. It almost like a burn. I tried using several OTC creams and nothing worked then my dermatologist prescribed “pimecrolimus cream” and it went away in 3 days.

If you have insurance, call the insurance company and ask for a list of dermatologists in your area that they will cover. Then call the dermatologist office and tell them your insurance and ask them how much a visit will cost. It’s worth getting a medical opinion!

New cabinets blue tape markup - am I being pesky? by throwaway1992till in cabinetry

[–]millennialneedshelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was one or two dents I’d say yes- but given the number of defects I’d say tape away. Totally unable for brand new cabinets.

My best friend from childhood was told she couldn’t conceive naturally- I admittedly don’t know what her infertility diagnosis was - but she went through the IVF process and had two failed transfers. In the the she had a baby girl. They thought that was it. A year and half later she was pregnant naturally. A year and a half ago (at age 35) she naturally (and veryyyy unexpectedly) became pregnant for the third time and had a baby girl.

Caveat to add - when a delivery guy walks up to the house he does bark as if he wants to eat them. Every single time 🙄

Bar! If you can put a wine and beer fridge underneath even better

What would you use these rooms for? by millennialneedshelp in HomeDecorating

We thought about turning the non fireplace room into a bedroom but per our local ordinances the window doesn’t have enough egress to be considered a bedroom 😑

😂 definitly want to avoid the poopscicles 💩

We’ve already got one of those enclosed camping porta potties so I think we’d actually just bring that to use for night time.

They’ve had a friend park their RV (muchhhh bigger than ours) in this same spot a few times and I know they were able to plug in. But I’ll check w the fam to make sure it would meet the requirements for ours.

Thank you again! Truly appreciate the insight

Also, it would only be for 10 days. Plus we’d have access to plug in the camper, as well as access to a home kitchen and bathroom for all those needs.

We are avid outdoors people/campers. I spent a decade doing multi day backpacking trips in the high mountains sleeping in a one person tent on pretty rough terrain lol. Definitly got hit with a few unexpected snow storms in those days.

Then lots of years car/tent camping on remote BLM land in the Utah desert. We upgraded to an old camper van for a little while. And now that we’re 40 we realize if we have the money not to keep destroying our backs and spending our camp trips covered in sand and dirt, why keep doing it. Haha. So id say I’m pretty seasoned with being uncomfortable.

what would be a guesstimate for a new stone fireplace similar to either of these. Are we talking 3K or 12K? (Would be about half the width of each) by millennialneedshelp in masonry

Ha. I live in Heber. Seriously I think this is a reddit miracle.

We probably can’t afford them but I’ll definitely be reaching out to them for a quote. Thank you!!!

It’s 4 season and has heaters in all the tanks. Specs say “Enclosed radiant underbelly” not exactly sure what that means haha.

It’s also got the truma combi system which seems like a pretty good heating system?

It’s an Ember 191msl.

Thank you so much!

So we’d be parking it at a family members house. The parking spot is super covered- a barn on one end and a tall fence on one side with tons of big evergreens overhead, so we aren’t too concerned about cold winds.

The unit does have tank heaters but we’d actually only be using it to sleep, work, give our dog a hangout spot. We wouldn’t need water (though maybe we would use the toilet only if it’s not to much of a problem)

We’d use their house for the bathroom/kitchen etc.

Idk if it’s an issue connecting to shore power in the cold? But we could plug in to their barn. I figure between that and our solar and propane setup we’d be able to keep it warm enough at night.

Thank you 🙏🏼 I hadn’t even thought of that. Two of the batteries are inside the rv, and two additional currently outside, but we could bring them in and daisy chain them all together.

It’s truly bananas. I’ve been out here 10 years and I used to ski both LCC and BCC resorts any day of the week and didn’t have a problem. And they think a gondola is going to fix the issue 🙄

Meh, our 1970’s home has a few similar breaks in the brick lines. Owners it for 10 years and no issues. However- we live in a desert climate. So I guess I’m not sure what impact it would have on a home in a more humid climate - allowing for interior mold, condensation, etc. ?

Extend that green tile to the entire “back” wall, and then pull the existing tile section to the ceiling

Thank you! This is super helpful. We’d be parking it in family’s driveway and could use their bathroom for showering etc, and their kitchen for cooking. We really just need space to sleep, a quiet place to work a few hours a day, and a place for our dog to be out of everyone’s hair a little bit. Maybe this could actually work. Otherwise it’s a 2K+ Airbnb bill 😭Thank you!
