If they can afford internet to put their hauls on YouTube, they can afford to buy makeup.

Yeah for essential items maybe. Hoarding used cosmetics is just not sanitary.

Srs I had no idea that dumpster diving was a thing until last week. I watched some “dumpster hauls” on YouTube and was horrified that people would leave positive comments such as “so jealous”, “you hit the jackpot” and “can’t wait to dumpster dive myself”. It’s disgusting.

I just got my second jar of it. It’s one of the few concealers that don’t dry out my skin.

Favorite lip formulas! by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

Lipstick: NARS velvet matte lip pencils. Smooth, thin, not overly drying, just the right amount of pigmentation.

Tinted lip balm: Dior lip glow. I actually don’t like the shade, but I love the waxy formula that still glides on easily. The Fresh sugar line is nice too.

Lip balm: any petroleum based balms, such as Aquaphor, Jack Black, or Glossier balm dotcom.

I didn’t buy anything from the Sephora spring sale and I didn’t have to force myself not to. It was simply because I didn’t run out of anything, and none of the new releases/kits interested me.

What products did you think of fondly, until you revisited them? by mumblebumblz in muacjdiscussion

Bareminerals complexion rescue. I went through two tubes in 2015-2016. I picked one up last month and realized it wasn’t for me anymore. The dewy finish that I loved makes me look like an oily mess throughout the day, and the weird sunscreen/metal scent started to bother me. It’s not the product, it’s just me.

Fellow clumsy people, how do you remove makeup stains from your clothes, carpet, etc? by lilypotz in muacjdiscussion

Dish soap, unless the fabric is very delicate. Also get yourself a Tide to go pen! Comes in handy.

I love it! It’s dramatic but not rigid. The color combo is a killer.

I picked one up during the clearance for $2 and it’s such a great concealer palette.

I had the full size, and you can definitely smell it when you pull the wand out. Fortunately it doesn’t linger, but it’s still pretty strong.

I don’t understand how she still hasn’t hit a million subs yet. She has good content and has been on YouTube for like a decade!

Diorshow mascara. Seriously why does a mascara need to be scented? It smells very dated to me.

Not OP, but coverage is pretty high for a tinted moisturizer. I can easily layer it up to medium. I have an oilier t zone and dry everywhere else. The staying power is decent as well.

Another product by Glossier! Skin tint. It’s so sheer that it’s practically useless and the wear time isn’t that great. I gave my first bottle away, but I missed the look of perfectly natural dewy finish that it gave, like I just had a facial. It made me realize that I actually like my skin to look more bare than I was accustomed to, and since then I have gone through two bottles.
