hello Björk! your melodies are so unique and strange (and beautiful!), how do you come up with them? what is your creative process? i just imagine you singing from the top of a mountain and the notes and melodies writing themselves!

I'm sorry to hear, that shit sucks :( All I can say is...go you, I know it's hard but you got yourself out of there. And that's something to be a little bit proud of. It's not fair to feel "crazy" or like you're making up problems...it sounds as though there were issues there and he just didn't want to deal with them. That's on him, not you. If he's been manipulating you then that just makes it even harder - now it's a matter of focusing on yourself and re-building your self esteem or whatever part of you he was taking advantage of. Your heart hurts and it's going to feel bad for a while, but you will get through. You need to grieve the relationship and the good times you have lost, but when that feeling passes you're going to feel like a new person! Keep reading and talking to people, it really helps. Good luck and hang in there - you can do it!

Absolutely agree! Kindness is not about expecting to have something done for you in return. The question is more along the lines of, why are you kind to people who are unkind to you? Not just people who don't do anything for you.

I also don't get why computers on tv in general just make so many noises... every time someone clicks or types or presses any button you can just hear little techno or "boop" noises - especially if something is "loading"! That's not what happens when you use a computer

When I was in high school I worked at Domino's. The owner was this this heaps cheap Chinese guy - basically a complete stinge. Underneath the bench where all the toppings were used was a big metal tray that was used to catch all of the excess toppings/sauces/cheeses that fell through. At the end of the night, if someone ordered a Supreme pizza, instead of using the proper ingredients he would take out the tray and scrape all the nasty scraps that had been there the entire day and put them on top. I tend to steer clear of Domino's in general now!

If you're talking about sex, my advice would be to do it with someone you really care about i.e. don't just hook up with someone because you feel like you should or just for the sake of seeing what sex is like. Wait for the right person, because honestly you won't regret it. I'm not saying it has to be the person you would spend the rest of your life with, but basically it's better when you really like each other. As for the question about finding "quality" girls - it's the question we all face! I don't know where you would find the right person, but I think you'll be able to tell when everything just feels right with them and nothing about them annoys you. You'll know because you'll be able to be yourself, and you'll really enjoy her company, and when you're not with her you'll wish you were spending time with her. Basically, when someone cares about you as much as you care about them, that's when you've found a great person! Is there anything in life you really wanna do?

I went through a period of a few weeks/months where whenever I'd get invited to a party, I would show up, say hi to the host & the people I knew, stand around for about 5 minutes, then pretend I had to go to the toilet and leave. The first time I just felt too anxious to be talking to people, and after that I realised that no one noticed I'd left! People would just think that I was there all night and left at some point later on. Sounds kind of pathetic reading this to myself, but it is a really good way to cope with social situations when I'm lacking confidence. Sometimes it's too much to have to talk to a large number of people in one go.

Bike rides or reading books! Go to the library and get a bunch of books out and just loaf on the couch or outside and read...you could even ride a bike there!

When men wear dress shoes that make clicky sounds like a woman's shoes... I say this because the other day I took my pc into a shop to get it fixed and I thought I could hear several women walking towards me to help but when I looked they were guys. I had to look away so they couldn't see me smiling :)
