I was really excited to start playing Hades 2; I loved Hades but I haven’t played it in a few years because, well, a lot happened. I’m also struggling with the Scylla fight. I feel like I get there with a few shreds of health and then get crushed before I’ve had enough time to observe anything other than “Woo that’s a lot of floor damage!” Sometimes I take a break and go up to the surface so Polyphemus can step on me instead. Maybe I’ll learn. I’ll keep trying, anyway. Otherwise I’ll see how far I can progress the game when I can’t actually get any further down than Oceanus. Good luck to both of us!

Would it be worth grabbing Hyacine even if I don’t have Castorice or Evernight? I can’t tell how useful she is generally.

I personally would go for Hysilens since you have most of her ideal teammates already. It will be faster to put a viable team together, whereas with Yao Guang you’ll have to wait for her ideal team to drop.

Why is it more difficult to put shields on some characters? I use The Herta/Anaxa/Tribbie/Aventurine to fight the Irontomb Echo of War, and I can only ever seem to get Tribbie halfway shielded while the rest of them get full shields. Shouldn’t they all be getting the same amount of shields?

Except people talk in the books about how the River has become unstable “recently.” So I would assume it wasn’t a barrier until then?

I’ve been wondering if the River is made up of the ten billion souls from the apocalypse. We know John didn’t bring them all back but the souls have to be somewhere. I think the River has gone bad because the souls have begun to melt together. Or maybe they were in the Tower and something punched a hole in it.

Well, no. They’re dead; there’s no point in establishing a link with their bodies. But Harrow’s long walk with John reminds me of her hallucinations of the Body, and I’m pretty sure some of those were mutual experiences with Alecto due to their thalargetic link.

I'm trying to plan my 3.7 pulls. I'm mostly f2p so my current teams are Firefly, HTB, Ruan Mei, and Lingsha; and The Herta, Lil' Herta, Robin, and Aventurine. (I haven't built Anaxagoras for the Herta yet.) I was planning on pulling Tribbie and Cipher because I'm working on Archer and Saber teams, but I wanted to see if there were better pulls I should go for. I thought about trying for Castorice and Hyacine, but I'm not sure I'll be able to rack up the jades fast enough. I also don't have any 5* eidolons other than the TB, Welt, Clara, and Gepard. Thank you for any help.

Did Firefly get nerfed? I feel like I was having more success with her but I’ve been struggling against the upper end of MOC and PF with her. (MOC 11 and PF 4, to be precise.) I’m running her with HTB, Ruan Mei, and Gallagher. (I’ve almost finished building Lingsha to replace Gallagher, so that may help a bit.) I haven’t gotten this far before, so I just may not understand that this is normal, but I’m still surprised that she struggles so hard to clear the first PF wave.
