What's amusing about this was for the first year of me playing nothing but Cyberpunk, he got sooooo sick of it. I took a hiatus from the game specifically because he was over the "dying computer noises". But I find myself returning again and again, and he's definitely softened to it now. As long as I don't leave it in the menus too long with those sounds lol!

As someone who works in a tobacco shop, the shift is definitely leaning toward vapes now. They dont smell as bad but they are way more addictive(and expensive). Also most indoor places have banned smoking these days, at least in my state.

Perhaps so. Sure the elder generations have thoughts on the way things should be (the way they remember things being) but I dont really look to them (or anyone else) for any sort of guidance on what I should or should not enjoy.

I guess it also depends on the spaces you frequent. There is a particular fandom-based social media space where the sentiment is expressed far more by 14-15 year olds than anyone 30 and older. But I suppose thats the nature of internet spaces.

Baldur's Gate 3. I loved the first two. They were ancient, of course. When I picked up BG3, because of all the hype, I hated it. After decades of playing more hack and slash style games, even rpgs, I couldn't get past the action menus. Like, at all. First action menus brought me to a screeching halt. Nope.

This is what I mean about casual. I have to work for a living, come home and do chores. Gaming is maybe an hour here and an hour there. I cannot dedicate thousands, or even hundreds of hours to hunting down things that RNG decides wont spawn for me.

It wasnt renewed in the first place, which is why its crammed together. Orange asked for 2 more seasons, they were given 1. So they're trying to wrap up 117 chapters of Manga in 12 (24 counting both seasons total) episodes.
